We love sitting in the bar. Ben and Mason are awesome! They are fun, friendly and provide really great service.The filet tips on the bar menu were amazing as well as the oysters on the half shell and the jumbo asparagus. The Tomahawk was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Overall great! Enjoyed chatting with others at the bar. Great ambiance and view. Will be back!!

A group of us recently celebrated our 75th Birthdays at Muckleshoot’s Smoke & Cedar. OMG! From start to finish, the S&M delivered the best tasting food and dining experience.

From the moment we arrived, management made us all feel like special guests. Ashley, our server was perfect, too. Her personality, timing, presentations and delivery of each course impressed us all.

BTW, S&M’s show stopper that evening was the “19th Floor Iced Tower” (three tiers of prime/fresh seafood appetizers: Alaskan King Crab, Maine Lobster, Jumbo Prawns, Tuna Poke, Scallops, etc.

The star of our dining experience was the 40 oz. Tomahawk Ribeye. OMG!! Truly a steak perfection.

Just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, the Flaming Mt. Rainier arrived!!! The flambeed presentation and taste of this dessert was pure bliss. It ended the evening perfectly!!

Above all, Kudos to Smoke & Cedar’s Chef! Our evening was truly a Michelin-worthy experience we’ll treasure and talk about for a long time.

Went there for our anniversary. I had the 40oz tomahawk and my wife had the salmon, which despite being well done at our request since my wife is pregnant, was still delicious. The steak was great too!

The best restaurant I have been to in all of Washington and rivaling some of the top restaurants in LA, NY and Miami! Top notch. Service was attentive and elegant. Atmosphere was spot on. Not too stuffy not too casual but elevated. The bar was top shelf! 5 types of Pappy Van Winkle! And the The FOOD! Omg the food was great! Fantastic. Superb. Delectable. We had the hamachi crudo - wow on the lemon curd or cream just wow. We also had oysters and blown away by the freshly grated horseradish! The wedge salad was spectacular- the candied smoked bacon stole the show! But the dressing was insanely good. I had the pork chop which was outstanding and I ordered a side of the huckleberry compote - that combo was SHUT THE DOOR great. My husband ordered the dry aged ribeye and it was cooked to perfection and the Oscar style did not disappoint with the generous amount of perfectly cooked crab and excellent Bernaise! We will absolutely be back!

The inside was very elegant and nice. Best part of dinner was the smoked old fashion at the bar. The food was pretty good. My steak was cooked right but could have been seasoned better. The service was very slow, and they didn't check in too often. I ordered wine with dinner, and I didn't received it until I already eat half my steak. If they are going to charge the prices they are you expect it to be top notch. It was not. There is much room for improvement.

I sent a private message hoping to hear back before leaving a public review and received no response.

My girlfriend and I came in for her birthday and ordered a $105 bone in ribeye with a side of asparagus in béarnaise sauce.

I can’t think of a worse meal I have had at any price point. The $100+ lukewarm steak had absolutely zero flavor and the asparagus was lukewarm with béarnaise that wouldn’t be acceptable from Dennys. I honestly feel scammed at this point. Their chef needs to start tasting food before it goes out.

My girlfriend insisted I not make a scene by sending the food back so we took it home for the dog. The restaurant and service was as expected at this price point but when you fall this short on the food, nothing else really matters.

We came in hungry and excited. We were expecting something similar to what EQC has to offer in terms of food quality and left with our night ruined.

I came for dinner with a party of eight adults to celebrate my birthday. This was not my first time dining at Smoke & Cedar, but it was by far the top-tier dining experience I’ve ever had. Not only is the restaurant a beautiful place to celebrate, but the staff went above and beyond to make my night one I’ll remember for years. They spared no expense or detail for my guests and me. Chef Joel rolled out a fantastic dinner, starting with amuse-bouches and appetizers, followed by perfectly prepared steaks for everyone. The entire meal was outstanding, and the service made us feel both special and welcomed. Smoke & Cedar truly exceeded my expectations and created a celebration I’ll never forget. I highly recommend it for any special occasion — or simply when you want the best dining experience in town.

This was a beautiful restaurant with a view. The service was superior. We arrived feeling slightly under dressed, as we didn’t know such a place could exist upstairs from the casino.
I would go again, and it would be in celebration of an occasion. It was a memorable experience.

My wife and I had an anniversary dinner here and were disappointed. My porterhouse steak was NOT a $120 steak. It was thin, very little fat and over salted. I've purchased better steaks at Costco and grilled them myself. My wife's Lobster Thermidor was seasoned with an overpowering amount of fennel (or anise) which is unusual to even put in a Lobster Thermidor recipe. Does the chef ever taste his/he food? The only redeeming item as the table bread and my Caesar salad. At $350 the meal was over priced and not worth it. We won't be back.

I ordered the braised beef... it was excellent, tender, flavorful, and melted in my mouth. The bread was soft and delicious, the salad was fresh, and the asparagus was perfectly cooked...crisp and tasty.

The New York Steak, however, was just average and felt overpriced for the flavor.

What really stood out, aside from the food, was the lovely ambience. The view of Mount Rainier is stunning, and the servers were friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better.

Overall, I’d rate it a 5 — mostly for the beautiful view and great service.

As soon as you arrive off the elevator on the 19th floor you are welcomed in to an incredible dining experience of kind and friendly staff. The atmosphere of the restaurant from the waiting area, bar , views and dining area (indoor or out) is top notch. The food, choices provided and the servers knowledge of the menu is wonderful and you can enjoy your meal and smile as you eat because it is just a fun place to go whether it is just because or a special occasion.
