Pricey, but really good sushi. Great lunch special!

Cute little hidden gem in downtown Auburn. I had the Mexican roll and loved the presentation and taste! Must try if you want good sushi in a nice and quiet setting!

Freaking delicious and super cute. There's not a ton of seating, but be patient because it's so worth it. Service was fantastic and friendly, the ambience is cozy and casual, and the food... We had the avocado bomb (really good and well balanced), the salmon teriyaki (fresh, melt in your mouth), the alaska roll, spicy tuna and sushido roll - all memorably fantastic. The photo doesn't do justice to how good it was, and the photo is pretty mouth watering IMHO. We were full and so happy. Fyi, scored parking at the lot just past Sushido on the left. Open parking weekdays after 6pm?

This was the best impromptu lunch I've had in years! It is an unpretentious hole in the wall with a condensed menu that was perfect for a lunch date! Our server was friendly and fast. The sushi plates were decorated with bright florals! The portion sizes were awesome!..... and most importantly the food tastes AMAZING! I LOVE THIS PLACE AND WILL GO BACK EVERY TIME I'M IN THE SOUTHEND!!

Normally I give them 5 stars. Today they get 3. Sat on hold for 7 minutes to place an order for pickup. By the time I ordered I was at the door. 1:15 in the afternoon, they had 2 tables with customers, not busy. Can't figure out the wait time on hold. The biggest problem I had is masks are required for customers and staff which is fine with me. I've avoided Covid-19 this far, I'd like to continue to avoid it. However the young man making the sushi behind the counter apparently doesn't know that his nose is part of his respiratory system. His mouth and chin were very well masked. His nose was not. Is this a huge deal, to some it might not be and that's fine, but if I've got to follow the guidelines to eat their food they should follow them to prepare their food. That's all.

Great service and good sushi; I just CANNOT get over their prices. I’ve eaten sushi at restaurants all over the country and have never paid so much for a roll. Their cheapest (basic Cali) being $13 (mine was $20). The presentation was beautiful, but overall nothing warrants that price. Btw, the prices on the menu shown on here are outdated and have gone up substantially.

Love this sushi place! Vegan friendly rolls! The avacado roll is serious business. It's delicious. Their sushi always looks little pretty and well presented even when it's take out. :) They also have a good assortment of Japanese beers. Also the people who work there are really awesome too.

Oh my LORD! My taste buds are exploding. This is worth every penny. I'm so satisfied.

Food was good and our waiter gave excellent service. My rub was the prices. Even for sushi this was pretty spendy. $9 for seaweed salad, where elsewhere it is usually around $4. For example.

The teriyaki chicken was amazing. 10/10. The service was average. The sushi was below average and very overpriced. The rap music they were playing was loud enough to barely hear ourselves amongst our own table. Probably wont go back, except for maybe to grab teriyaki to-go.

Good food and service. Small but quaint. Very nice. Would definitely go back again.

Great service. Family oriented, great food. Since the long term sushi chef has left I no longer go as the new sushi is not the same. I miss the last couple who worked there. But still good food.

Restaurant is open for dine-in as of 3/23/21, when I went.Absolutely excellent food, as well as excellent service. The only complaint I could possibly have is probably just a precaution related to the pandemic, which is: they don't have soy sauce for the table; it's all in single-serve packets. But I'm not going to blame them for that.Sushido gets ALL the stars, and I'd recommend them to anyone that likes sushi, or yakisoba, or Japanese fare in general. LOVE this place.*Photo is of the Fire Roll, which is literally served ON FIRE*

Good food, but not worth the hour long wait for to go. I ordered online through postmates and they said it was ready for pick up. Showed up 3 minutes after they said it was ready, and they hadn't even started. The kicker was they weren't busy, + no apology from the waitstaff, only a "sorry, that's weird" from the sushi chef after she asked if I sent the order to the correct location (I did). We'll be sticking with Chinook sushi.
