Beautiful, well maintained course. Round started out very slow but opened up after about 5. Greens are slow with very little break.

We ordered takeout over the phone, it was quick and easy and the person helping us was friendly and helpful. Sandwiches were ready in ten minutes, carefully packed.It was easy to find the location, no gates or barriers, just enter the pro shop and turn left, there are a few tables and a small bar. They are allowing eat-in with vaccine card and there was a group chatting at a table when I went in.The menu is a little different from the one posted on the website, see my photo. Food was quality and well prepared. Great weekday lunch. The staff says in winter they close before dusk, so not a viable dinner option.

You can't beat the view. It's at the top of a hill at the Washington Nationals golf course (University of WA). The restaurant and small bar area are part of the golf store. There's not much separation. The tables are old and shabby. The staff was very nice and the food was great! I would change one minor thing with the nachos. They placed all of the nacho ingredients on the top of the chips so after you eat the top you're left with a plate of chips. They should layer the ingredients. That wouldn't cost anything since there was a lot on the top anyway. One layer of chips then add cheese, meat, etc. Add another layer of chips then cheese and so on. I gave it four stars because they really need some kind of separation from the golf store and they have to replace the tables and chairs. I felt like I was in a hall from the 70's. Oh yea, there really should be more than one menu on a table. There's no reason for each table of four to share a single menu. Menus are cheap! Buy the paper holders and print the menus out yourselves, if you need to save money.
