Our kitchen flooded, so I’m finding myself eating out a lot lately. Found myself trying out Bento Toro Sushi for lunch today. I’m glad I did! I ordered maguro (tuna) nigiri (2 pieces) and a ‘San Francisco’ roll (tuna, avocado & cucumber) and they were delicious! The fish was fresh and the rice was just right. The menu has many dishes that sound delicious and that a non-fish eater might like. I can’t wait to return and try something else. My server was attentive as well. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

The sushi appetizer was really good here! My wife ordered the chicken bento box and had delicious California roll with shrimp tempura. The off menu chicken karaage with parmesan cheese was so good. Tender meat, juicy and crispy on the outside.

Have been here many times but obviously under different owners I would guess. The chef was different and the service was horrible. Order the same five rolls that I have when I bring my kids here. The Philadelphia roll was different I did not like the salmon that was in it asked to return it and was told no that I had to pay for it. Only ate one piece. And then rather than box it up or asked if I wanted it to take it home to somebody else she took it and threw it away. Then the chef came out and tried to tell me that I was wrong and that the smoked salmon was perfect. And that I made a mistake. What an awful way to run a restaurant. Adding one more thing to my post not that it'll make a difference but I have noticed that the owners never read or respond to any of the post they must not care what other people think.

Probably one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever experienced. We came here because gen sushi is closed on tuesdays. Took 30 minutes for us to receive our appetizers for 2 people and another 20 minutes on top of that to receive our entrees. Was checked on twice during the whole 50 minutes and when we did get our entrees, the Raman was pre packaged shin black Raman with nothing added except for bean sprouts. Chicken katsu was soggy and drenched in the tonkatsu sauce. Will not be dining here again

The good: Sushi is good but pricey. Seated right away. The bad: Chairs for tables are miserable to sit in, sagging support under bottom and wooden frame digs into back of thighs. We have gone here 3 times and just a few days ago we decided to never go again because of the chairs. Feels like you are sitting in a bucket. Service was very slow due to lots of to go orders. Only 2 other couples in whole place.
