Wanted to try this shop for over a year. Finally was free when it’s open, walked in and was not greeted as the only person in line for several minutes. Left without ordering. Customer service matters!
delicious!
Good crepes, good coffee and good service!
A very friendly, relaxing coffee shop.
The coffee and the pastries are excellent .
Cute little shop. Coffee is delicious.
Coffee and pastries are decent, atmosphere is cozy. A lot of people complain in reviews about the attitude of the owner, who is usually the only one working. If you're expecting something like what you get at Starbucks--the forced enthusiastic-like conversation asking you what plans you have for the rest of the day and the names of every pet you've ever owned--you can forget it. I've always seen the interaction as a mix of no-nonsense service and a challenge to get her to crack a smile. Sometimes I'm successful, sometimes she wins. But all in all, you ask for something, she makes/serves it--with refrigerated creamer for your coffee, I might add--and you pay her. Sit down or take it to go. It's nice and quiet there.
Cute coffee shop in Battle Ground Village, across the street from the library, with delicious drinks and amazing crepes. Our kids had some of the pastries (cinnamon roll and Danish) and devoured them. Can't wait to go back

While the crêpe was good. The lady at the counter would obviously rather be somewhere else. I was going to charge me a dollar for a cup of tapwater. Told me I could get water out of the bathroom. Seriously. Serving utensils were plastic. Hate to see that.
A fun cafe with excellent crepes and coffee. The kids thought the cocoa was just right and they wish we could go relax there every time we go to the library. The Lady behind the counter was pleasant and quick.
Kid-friendliness: Coca and candy available. Pleasant seating area.

Very rude and racist woman up front, probably even the owner?I am a Hispanic-woman. I own a smoothie shop and this is not the way you treat people. Here is my experience:This was my first time here, I wanted to have a relaxing morning, drink coffee and eat a crepe. I entered the shop and the moment this lady upfront saw me she looked at me so disgusted. I was like ok, maybe that’s how she naturally look at everyone. I asked for a cappuccino, she asked if I wanted it sweet or unsweetened. I said sweet, then she asked what sweetener I wanted, then I looked all confused at the menu trying to find my options and she got all rude for no reason! She threw a menu at the counter and said “well you need to have a flavor if you want it sweet” all in a very rude manner. At this point I wanted to leave but I told to my self that this lady with a sad life was not going to ruin my morning.I wanted to order a crepe too but as soon as I chose the coffee flavor she said the total and preceded me to check out. I was like, ok, that’s it then.I sat down and another customer came in (He was an American man) She was totally ridiculous different at the moment she started to take this gentleman’s order. She even smiled and treated him so nicely. I thought to myself well… he is probably someone she knows, and surprise!! he also said it was his first time here. Then this other couple entered the place and same history, she was the nicest person to them. She even went to their table to chat with them. But I, I would get this looks from her like she wanted me to leave. The way I got treated was so unfair. What was it? What did I ever do to you? Was it because I am Hispanic? Was this a racial matter or are you selective with your costumers?I am never going to come back to this place in my life nor ever recommend it to my relatives, no one wants to get treated this way.

Decided to spontaneously try out this coffee shop after a stop at the library. Met with a new friend there and got the kids a hot cocoa and I got a decaf mocha with dark chocolate and coconut milk. It was very tasty! The pastries all looked tempting and it's good to know they have savory crepes and some food options as well. The Cafe is a nice environment and Olga was very patient with our kids. I'm surprised from some of the reviews here because she was a lovely lady with a nice establishment (cozy, clean, and inviting). Plenty of parking and in a nice area. Prices seemed reasonable and you can even buy some mugs, teapots, and decor.

First time returning to Blue Castle in years. I ordered an Americano and a bagel with cream cheese, “for here.” My coffee came out in a paper cup and I preferred a real one, so I asked, very politely, for a ceramic cup. The lady rudely said, “You’re telling me this now?” and wasn’t willing to provide a real cup, even though there were several on top of the espresso machine. I told her to forget it and that I wouldn’t be returning. She shrugged and walked away. I won’t be spending my time or money here. The coffee isn’t even good; it’s bitter and has a strange aftertaste. Too bad, because this is a great location and the former owner when I used to come more often was very friendly. It’s been a long time since I’ve been here and I won’t be back unless ownership changes.

Unfortunately, I can't give much of a review because when we got there during posted open business hours, the doors were locked and there was no sign stating that they were closed. We won't bother going back after reading the latest reviews about the rude baristas and another person who found them closed.
Very tasty coffee, delicious pastries, good atmosphere, and excellent service.
