Detroit Pizza is pretty darned good pizza. I've been there many times, and I'll go again. It's not a sit-down place, but it tastes just as good wherever you open your pizza box at.

Would've ordered a delivery and tipped well, but subtotal (before delivery fee & tax) has to be at least $35. Why? Guess I'll settle with a chain restaurant ?‍?

I usually give a rating depending on 2 things: 1.the service 2. The pizza 1. The service was SUPER GREAT. The staff was helpful and friendly, went over and above to help. There were enough people there, we got our pizza faster than they said it would be. 2. The pizza was good: loaded with toppings, delicious to eat, but hard to pick up a piece without the bottom crust caving in & topping falling. There was no delicate way to eat a piece!! but then, I folded it over and ate it. Lol

I think this has got to be a favorite local pizza place in town! We always get a classic pep but I know there's other good combinations too!

I live just 2 min from this place and we love it! They are so friendly and the pizza is extremely good! They have lunch specials for a single small pizza and soda I think for less than $15. Definitely recommend (:

Lunch time sandwich place to be. There Italian grinder with oil and vinegar. Yum, they toast it. A perfect lunch that will have you ready to go back to work or play.

I ordered the Detroit style thinking it would be the best option because it the name of this pizza restaurant. However I was duped. This was worst pizza I've ever had. The red sauce was very bland and the crust lacked flavor as well. The meatballs on the sandwich tasted like they were made a week ago. The only thing that was good was the bread sticks. This is unfortunate because I do not like wasting food but to me this pizza was inedible.

Food is so good. Cant wait to go back and try more. Their outside area is cozy. Had a small group for dinner and was nice to have a drink and good food. Highly recommended.

Pizza is really good. It's expensive but worth it. I wish their website was better. It's horrible but don't the let website detour you from their pizza ?.Parking: It's tough to park there but you can walk if needed.

Omg what a cute and respectful pizza joint!! First time there and they offered us free cheesy bread with our taco pizza. I noticed while waiting for the pizza, they open the door for their clients, and if you're in the car they can bring it out to you! Definitely recommend!!

This strange little building makes pizza. It's pretty darn good pizza if I say so myself! In fact it's the best in Battle Ground, even when Rocky's decides it knows how to make pizza on a good day. That part of their website is accurate. Unfortunately...Ordering, obtaining, paying for and subsequently enjoying their food are not amazing experiences. It's definitely not Detroit-style. You know, deep dish and fluffy, square shaped, cross-cut, burned cheese all over the crust, etc. What it is, on the other hand, is inconsistent regarding the prep time as others have stated. I've been twice since moving here in 2021, and those two visits were enough for me. One time I ordered 30 minutes prior, showed up when asked, and waited 30 minutes in the tiny building shoulder to shoulder with other people impatiently checking their watches. The other time I ordered 45 minutes prior. Showed up 10 minutes later than asked (the reviews gave me a heads up this time), and waited 15 minutes in an empty restaurant for my pizzas. Despite all these growing pain problems in a well-established restaurant, it's also extremely expensive. I believe it's more meant to compete with the likes of high-tier pizza places like Blind Onion. Blind Onion however has perfect pizza. It's cheaper, faster, and more consistent than Det. Pizza. If you don't have the energy to drive to Vancouver or strong desire for the best, but you do have most of an afternoon to wait... Papa Murphy's is a DEAL.Sigh... I really struggle to recommend Detroit Pizza. I wish they were at least consistent. Having no way of knowing if you'll wait 35 minutes or an hour or more for solid, not incredible pizza is pretty frustrating. Then when they ring up your total it's hard not to feel insulted. I don't mean to bash them. The pizza really is good! It's just not worth it. Any of it. The good news is they could pick literally any of the lacking areas I spoke of, fix that, and it would make the place WAY more tolerable. They could cut prices (just do this anyway honestly. They make no sense.), make the pizzas better, or make the pizzas faster and on time for pickup at the indicated time. I hope they can improve because the location is great for us.
