Every single employee has been so courteous and kind, I truly feel like extended family when my fiancée and I come in. We’ve been coming since they opened and have never ever had a bad experience.

We always love going to Gen Sushi. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is comfy, and the staff are amazing. We have never had a bad experience. Today is my birthday and they treated me so wonderful! Some free appetizers and a free drink, followed by some fun stories. If you live in or around Battle Ground, I definitely recommend trying them out. Let's give them our business and keep them around for years to come.

overall , i loved the experience ! the server was really welcoming , i think the owner was on the floor and they left nothing but smiles behind ❤️🔥
My favorite was the miso soup . It tasted like it was made with a lot of love , the ingredients were so fresh . i will come back specifically for the soup .
The sweet egg was also pretty tasty , i would get it again ! im not sure how you're supposed to eat it , i had it with the pickled ginger and a little bit of soy sauce , SO YUMMY .

Really bummed about this place. The three stars are for price and size of portions. It’s a good price for sushi, but in my opinion not worth it. My husband and I ordered takeout so maybe it’s just not the same as eating in the restaurant. The nigiri lacked flavor and rolls were mediocre. The rating made me feel like I was finding something amazing close to home, but I guess I’ll still be making my way down to PDX for sushi.
