Food was superb. Fine cuisine, indeed. I had salmon over spinach. It wasn’t the typical Mexican by any stretch, but is fine dining.

What an exceptional experience. Going out to eat is expensive these days, so we are picky, but we popped into this place for a quick HH. Little did we know how incredible it would be! The nachos were 100/10, the margarita was PERFECT, not too sweet, and the employees (family of the owner) were truly incredible. What a fabulous neighborhood spot. We will definitely be going back and trying dinner next time!

Food is insanely overpriced and the staff are incredibly rude. Avoid this place like the plague. You are better off at taco bell.

Adrian’s Restaurant and Tequila Bar: Anniversary Night in Old Town Bellevue

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Adrian’s Restaurant and Tequila Bar, right in the heart of old town Bellevue. The location is central and walkable—though, as with most of downtown, parking takes a little extra patience (or luck).

Adrian’s sits on the corner, serving up a classic Mexican menu with a few surprises. The staff were all warm and attentive, making us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. Their menu covers all the bases, from fresh ceviche to rich chile rellenos. And for tequila lovers: you won’t be disappointed. The shelves are stocked with just about every variety imaginable—though I stuck with a classic Coke this time.

The restaurant’s vibe is where things get interesting. With low ceilings, dim lighting, and a playlist ranging from Billy Joel to country, Adrian’s is still sorting out its identity. It’s cozy but not exactly what you’d expect from a tequila bar. And for the chips-and-something crowd, be warned: here you get chips and warm black beans instead of salsa or guacamole. The beans were… fine, but there’s something about salsa that just feels right.

Service was friendly and attentive, but a little on the slow side—which worked out since the place wasn’t too busy. For my entrée, I ordered the wagyu beef fajitas, which were delicious. The combination of bell peppers and bacon gave them a rich, smoky kick. I wasn’t a fan of the corn tortillas, and surprisingly, the same black beans from the starter made a second appearance alongside my $60 fajitas. Not quite what I’d expect at that price point.

My husband went with the filet special, served over a decadent crab risotto. It looked fantastic and tasted even better.

Overall, Adrian’s delivered a solid experience—flavorful food, genuinely friendly service, and a festive vibe. I’d definitely come back, but next time I’ll bring a sweater: despite the 80-degree day outside, the air conditioning inside was set to “Arctic Expedition.”

Final verdict: Good for a special occasion, especially if you love tequila and classic Mexican flavors, just come ready for an unconventional chips-and-beans intro, and don’t forget that sweater

For the prices this place commands, you should expect authentic home quality dishes. Ordered chile verde pork ribs. Priced just under $50 (for pork) you would expect to be impressed. The chile verde tasted like something I would buy in a jar from the grocery store. It was served with bland green colored rice(assume cilantro?) and a black bean mash that again tasted like it was from a can of refried beans and guacamole on this side. Tortillas were from a grocery store bought pack. Sad to think that Bellevue raves about this place and believes this is “Mexican fine dining”…. Service was blah and when I got the check at the end I was being charged $68 for the pork dish. The menu price was $46…
If you want authentic or at least quality food and for the ridiculous pricing, do not go here. You’re better off at most hole in the wall Mexican restaurants for a fraction of the cost.

My wife and I ate at Adrian's for the first time last week and had an incredible experience. This is a small, elegant family-run business. The food was high-end and delicious. Our service was frankly perfect with personable staff attentive to our needs. Our experience was one of the best evenings out we've had and sometime.

My cousin and I had the most amazing culinary experience here! We're visiting Washington state for her birthday and enjoyed everything that we ordered at Adrian's. It was like having a party in our mouths because everything was so flavorful, especially the sweet and spicy mango and habanero enchiladas 😋. Marcos was a great server, he was pleasant, had the best recommendations and since there was only one other guest there at the time he played music and brought her some flan. We really had a great time and I would highly recommend Adrian's. 10/10!

Roberto greeted us at the door and immediately we felt welcomed and taken care of. We asked for recommendations and he offered us a surprise to give us more offerings instead of each of us ordering a main dish. So we ended up with the best veggie appetizer displayed in a column and cucumbers with vinaigrette. I don’t think I saw it on the menu so I took a pic to get it again.

Roberto offered up cool drink ideas to hubby. For the main course he had us split dinner on 2 plates: a filet mignon, garlic sautéed spinach on silky mashed potatoes, perfect salmon over bed of spinach salad and some type of mild cheese, prawns and crab! Later we had fried vanilla ice cream and a flan to celebrate.

Marco sang in Spanish at the bar and at our table. He is a good singer.

Overall, we will be back and with friends! Don’t miss out, for some reason this place is easy to miss even though it’s on a corner street.
