Food was amazing and tasted great, Palak Patta Chaat was super tasty and Jalebi Rabdi was also great, it’s sad that we could only stay here for a few days and not be able to eat it every once in awhile.

Loved the golgappey, kadhi pakora with cumin rice and the aloo paratha. Sumptuous meal to end the day.

Most authentic UP food in US! I am visiting from Bay Area and when a colleague claimed that Seattle has best North Indian food I didn’t believe him until I tried Banaras on his recommendation. Litti Chokha and Malaiyo transported me back to Banaras. My server Sahil was super nice and attentive. Thank you Banaras for making my trip memorable. I will have to come back just to eat here :)

We had a great experience during our first visit to Banaras Restaurant. The food was flavorful, well-prepared, and overall excellent. Unfortunately, our recent visit was extremely disappointing.
The Smoky Soya Chaap was excessively oily and undercooked. The Litti Chokha was just average and lacked authentic taste. The Tamatar Chaat was overwhelmingly sweet — it felt like we were eating straight sugar. The Kathal Biryani and Gujiya Rabdi were also below standard and did not meet basic quality expectations.
There has been a noticeable decline in food quality compared to our previous visit. We hope you will seriously review and improve your food standards, as this experience did not justify the expectations we had from your restaurant.
Charging premium prices but serving low-quality food is unacceptable. We expect better standards and consistency from your restauran

Insanely expensive place for mediocre food, meager quantity and pathetic service. The waiter couldn't understand/speak English, and the music was loud.

The very best Vegetarian Restaurant
As someone with roots in Banaras, I can confidently say this is by far the best Banarasi food experience you can have in the US. The flavors capture the essence of Banarasi rich culinary heritage, from its tangy chaats to Litti Chokha. The authenticity and attention to detail in these dishes are unmatched. This place is a true delight for anyone craving the flavors of Banaras abroad.
