As someone with roots in Banaras, I can confidently say this is by far the best Banarasi food experience you can have in the US. The flavors capture the essence of Banarasi rich culinary heritage, from its tangy chaats to Litti Chokha. The authenticity and attention to detail in these dishes are unmatched. Food was outstanding, service was attentive without being rushed, and the ambience was definitely better than many Indian restaurants in the Seattle and Bellevue area. Menu is authentic Benarasi, and from the taste, one can understand that a lot of thought has gone into the menu items. Masalas appear to be fresh and made in-house so the taste of the dishes were unique. Naans were fresh and tasted really good with the paneer and kofta curries. Dinesh the person in charge, was extremely courteous and guided us through the menu and helped us with our choices. If you want a break from the ordinary Benares is the place to go.
We celebrated a birthday dinner with friends this evening and had a wonderful experience! Dinesh was a very gracious and warm host who helped us all feel very comfortable. The food was exquisite and the service was impeccable! ???
Excellent food, excellent service, and an excellent experience overall! I would definitely recommend this place! We ordered palak patta chaat, aloo tikki chaat, lahsuni kathal, and kadhi rice. Everything we ordered was on-point!
P.S. I’m a huge chai lover, and was impressed with the chai as well! Loved it ? We need more of these kind of places!

Near perfect food, specific dishes are delectable and others could do with some less spices but overall a great experience with food, staff and oh yeah the lassi and desserts are mind blowing.
This is the most finest restaurant that I have been too. Best authentic north indian food outside India, food filled with rich flavors, best service and great ambiance. A restaurant where I would go again and again with my family and friends. Highly recommend! Enjoy the India's best delicacies at Banaras.

This was my first visit, and we ordered kachori aloo sabzi and sattu ka paratha along with other curries. Unfortunately, we found the dishes(aloo sabzi and paratha dishes) to be excessively salty. Both my Indian partner and I agreed on this and brought it to the host’s attention. However, the host took the food, returned shortly after, and mentioned there was nothing wrong with it, bringing the same dishes back to our table. We were unsure why our feedback was dismissed. Sattu ka paratha was just as salty, so while we didn’t send it back, we were unable to eat much of it. The curry was decent, but overall, the experience was disappointing due to the lack of consideration for our concerns. Don’t recommend although the servers except the host were very nice.

We went there for a special occassion. After the order, the food came out suspiciously quickly which made us think that it was perhaps not fresh.
There was no hospitality as we had to literally ask for every small thing such as a basic silverware for the number of people for each dish being ordered.
Food taste was below average in terms of quality and quantity considering the price point of each item.
When provided feedback the owner seemed indifferent to it and not apologetic at all.
It ruined the special occassion for us, which were really looking forward to.
