Have gone here for years but change in ownership is evident. Reminds me of the airlines looking for many ways to nickel/dime charge you xtra for what you had come to think of as part of the experience. First, there is now a charge for parking whereas we used to just generously tip the folks that took care of your car . Another change and verynannoying is a charges they have instituted of $7 for using a credit card. Really? And, not the value it once was. 2 people, one drink and nothing special and it was around $175/80 before tipping the valet for a meal that not that long ago was much less. No longer on my list of places I will frequent or recommend.

The food, service and ambiance were just what we were used to receiving from such a caring establishment. The halibut was perfectly cooked (moist not dry) and served with a delicious sauce and just the right amount of rice. My companion thoroughly enjoyed the salad (YUM) and the mussels. Our server gave us plenty of time to decide, enjoy our cocktails and our meal but made herself available for any of our needs without being intrusive. Bis is much busier in the winter but still has the same relaxed, caring atmosphere as in the summer as well as the delicious food!

My girlfriend and I went there for the first time last night- let me tell you that you have to get the grand marnier crispy prawns app. It is possibly the best app I've ever tasted - the NY was amazing- so was the halibut. Our manhattan and lychee martini were perfect- also the bread pudding desert was the best I've ever had. We will be back, oh yeah I cannot remember our servers name and older gentleman with an accent, he was amazing and perfect with timing. The valet and Bussers did great too :) we are happy guests looking forward to our next visit.

Bis on Main is a hidden gem in old Bellevue. My wife asked for several customizations to her order and the kitchen was spot on for each request. Diverse options on both drink and brunch menus, comfortable seating, the service was excellent. The beignets are to die for, don't miss these. Definitely a reliable choice for casual dining, business, special events.
