The black cod dish was outstanding!!! We will be back. Our server was professional and on it. Thanks for a lovely evening.
My meal met my expectation as to quality and reasonable price. My wife's crab cakes were however dry and tasteless and certainly not worth the price. The Biz is an excellent restaurant and we eat their often but this time it did not prove to be worth the high price.
My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Bis on Main, Bellevue. The room is classy and comfortable. We had a cozy banquet table for two up front. Service was friendly and professional. The food was excellent. I had a tasty warm beet salad and crispy garlic chicken followed by a yummy vanilla bean creme brulee. My wife enjoyed the bib lettuce salad and halibut with pesto and lobster sauce followed by warm apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Portions were generous. Overall an outstanding dining experience.
Won't be going back. A bellevue institution that has lost is way. Food was decent but not brilliant for the price. Bis on Main is an experience restaurant and I am willing to pay for that, if the experience is good. Hair in food, house flies around table , kind but inexperienced waiter. The vib was, “you're lucky to be here” vs “welcome, it's a pleasure to have you here”.
Food was as good as ever. Basic service was good. I chose two different wines off the wine list and they were out of both On the bill, they charged me for two bottles of wine and we only had one. I will go back but they weren't as sharp as usual. The valet parking is a big plus
I met with a friend for brunch at bis on main this weekend. This was our first time visiting and I will definitely be back. The food was all fantastic. I am vegetarian and there were great options available for me. They also have beignets! And those were tasty. we shared a serving of those. I had the eggs benedict florentine and a peach bellini. Overall, this was an excellent meal. I especially enjoyed that it was quiet and my friend and I could share a conversation easily without shouting. So many restaurants today are very loud and I don't understand why restaurants perpetuate that environment. We both enjoyed our meals and the service was excellent, too.
We had brunch at 12:30 PM on a Sunday. The restaurant was less full and quieter than usual, which was a welcome change. And the food was great -- I had the lobster roll (again), which is better than any I've had on the east coast, and my son had a beautiful looking waffle presentation -- thick waffles with beautiful fruit. I'll want to do their brunch again - many good-looking items on the menu.
I met an old friend for dinner and conversation. The server at Bis was incredibly intuitive about meeting our needs yet giving us time and space to talk. We were very pleased by his sensitivity and recommendations. The King Salmon special was fabulous! A very generous portion, well prepared! We also appreciated that the salad we asked to split was served on 2 separate plates. We also enjoyed creative cocktails and a lovely Vanilla Creme Brulee that was more than enough for the 2 of us to share. A truly lovely evening supported by exquisite service and delicious food!

Husband and I went in for a late lunch. The manager sat us at a table, poured our water and gave us the menu. We waited and waited and finally we heard the manager telling the server, Adrianna to come to our table and take our orders. Adrianna took our orders, dropped off our plates and never came by to check on us, not even once. Meanwhile she checked on the tables around us. My husband had to walk to the back with his empty glass to ask for a refill. The food was great but absolutely no service. I didn't leave any gratuity to reflect the lack of service. I asked to speak to the manager before stepping out of the restaurant and told him about our lunch experience and he was very apologetic.

My husband and I were there few nights ago for our 44th wedding anniversary dinner. Our server, Walter was a gem. Again food was great and service was wonderful!

We absolutely love everything about this restaurant! Everything from the atmosphere, servers, fabulous food and drinks are absolutely exquisite. Warm, friendly, efficient staff who care about the patrons and want to make your dining experience a pleasure. The owner Bobby goes from table to table checking in to make sure that your dining experience is fabulous. Truly an owner who really does care about his customers. I highly recommend this restaurant for a night out with your other half, a night with friends and family or a business dinner. This restaurant does not disappoint.

I gave a one star for the food. I usually don't give reviews that are this negative but paying $250 for over cooked halibut and black cod that made me sick is worth a one star. If you still plan on eating here I would stay clear of the seafood.

I came here last night with a friend to celebrate a big accomplishment, and I’m so glad we chose this spot. From the host to the bartender, the service was exceptional. I’ve been in the food and beverage industry for over 15 years, and it was such a breath of fresh air to truly enjoy my visit.
We sat at the bar where Jason took care of us, and he was fantastic — a true master of his craft. I’m a bartender myself and work a lot with tequila and margaritas, so it was a fun change of pace to experience his amazing gin martinis.
For food, we started with the cheese and charcuterie board — the pork pâté was especially delicious, and everything else on the board was excellent. For my main, I had the mussels, and the curry broth they came in was absolutely delicious.
I can’t wait to come back again

We celebrated our anniversary here. Dinner, service, and ambience was excellent. The value was great for the quality of the experience. Look forward to returning here!
Truly the best Bellevue Dining Experience! Meeting the CHEF was so special! Talk about a delicious dinner- WOW Service awesome, 💯 in every level!! Thank you so much!!!
The wine corkage fee at 45$ was way too high. More than any other restaurant I've been to in the Seattle area. I usually pay between 25 and 35$. This detracted from what was otherwise a good experience.
