Been to this bakery several times before, specifically for the blueberry cream cheese pastries (our favorites), but have also tried few other items such as the sponge cake and macarons which are tasty. The coffee tasted great every time we have been.

Today, we were walking past the storefront around 6:10pm (so technically they were closed), but they saw we were peaking around, and invited us in! Very friendly lady (owner, I assumed), and on our way out gave us some complimentary chocolate chip cookies to try! (very tasty btw)

Overall has always been a pleasant experience here, so I am not sure what the other reviews are talking about, as we've always enjoyed Boulangerie! 5/5

We had an experience recently where I placed an order for a cake for a special occasion (my wife's birthday) and realized that I had placed the order at the wrong location. After hearing this, the employees immediately started work on the cake that we intended to order and got it to us incredibly quickly and prepared beautifully and threw in candles for us as well. We always go here to get our special occasion cakes and always have a fantastic experience!

Such yummy treats and great customer service. We don’t live in the area, but we definitely stop by every time we are in the area. The chocolate molasses cake slices are my favorite! My kids all choose different things and always devour everything.

Moldy cake alert! My wife purchased a $40+ cake the afternoon of Dec 30, immediately put it in our fridge. Consumed the next evening Dec 31 (for my now 7yo kids birthday). Everyone said it tasted tangy, and for good reason; turns out all the fruit was moldy! Great job Boulangerie - an excellent surprise for the whole family!

I swear their cakes didn’t used to have powdered sugar on top. It’s almost like they used it this time to cover up the old fruit.

We actually had a moldy creme bun from them once before but chalked it up to bad luck. Definitely never coming back now.

I would love to help this place out. Long time customer. Please remove the tint from the windows so people can see inside. Replace all the broken light bulbs. Remove the shelf behind the front window and arrange the chairs and table and put a mini flower vase (with flowers) on the table. Organize all the clutter on the right side of the shop where the cookies used to be. Dust the shelves, wax the floor. And for goodness sake, serve more fresh foods like the tuna croquettes.

It's okay. I prefer the Lakewood one because it's more lively and fresh.
This spot feels more expensive for the portion, not sure why. But its way better than starbucks for sure.
Support local bakeries that's for sure.

This Korean-style bakery is a popular spot for the local Korean community to hang out. There is another location in Lakewood, WA, though it's unclear if they share the same ownership or are part of a franchise. I've visited this store several times and have noticed that their pastries often remain on the shelves for more than 24 hours at room temperature. While there's nothing inherently wrong with this, it does mean the pastries aren't as fresh as they could be at this particular location.

In my opinion, the pastries still retain moisture and taste delicious, but I prefer freshly baked goods.

Here's my summary:

- Service: Average, as expected for a bakery.
- Food: Slightly below average due to the longer shelf life of the pastries.
- Price: A bit high compared to nearby bakeries.
- Restroom: Yes.
- Parking: Located in a small mall area with plenty of free parking spaces.

I love their pastries. GREAT QUALITY! Way better than a Panera or Starbucks.I only recommend to add music (like classical music or tango) while you are having the coffee here, this would be a perfect touch. Also wifi for customers. Other than that is AMAZING.

Cute little place. We had the creme puffs to celebrate a birthday after eating next door. They had a decent variety of treats, and the sales lady was really nice.

A 1 inch Swiss roll is marked as $7.99. The Castella cake is just a cake base, gross. Go somewhere else please, this place is nasty and is a rip off.
