Lovely place. The food I tasted was really on spot. The mushroom risotto was a little harsh but the agnolli with fresh corn crema and tallegio was exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, the server described the dish to a dining partner as having "blue cheese" which was completely misleading. I will go back but not before they fire that server.
We made a last minute reservation for Cantinetta during the week and were able to enjoy outdoor seating, which was lovely so our dogs could sit with us during our meal. We had the pappardelle alla bolognese (a must!) and the pici cacio e pepe (delicious!). The only complaint is we wish we had more, but glad to hear that the pappardelle stays on the menu year round. Absolutely delicious handmade pasta! The Pappardelle alla Bolognese was rich and flavorful, with perfectly cooked wide noodles and a deeply savory meat sauce. The Tagliolini alle Vongole was light and aromatic — the clams were fresh, and the white wine sauce brought everything together beautifully.
