⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Lunch at Carmine’s (Bellevue, WA)
Carmine’s is hands-down one of the best Italian restaurants in Bellevue, WA—a perfect spot for an elevated lunch with classic Italian flavors and kind and helpful servers.
We started with the The Gamberoni Provinciale: large prawns sautéed with garlic, white wine, butter, and tomato primavera—so flavorful and perfectly cooked the prawns were succulent , the sauce savory, and bright—exactly the kind of coastal Italian appetizer you hope for..
For my entrée, I ordered the Scaloppine di Vitello al Limone & Capperi. The veal was tender, the lemon-caper sauce was silky and vibrant, and it paired beautifully with the polenta and seasonal vegetables.
And dessert… wow. The Carmine’s Cipriani (vanilla layer cake with vanilla bean mascarpone cream and Italian meringue) was light, creamy, and absolutely worth saving room for.
If you’re searching for authentic Italian cuisine in downtown Bellevue, Carmine’s is a must. We’ll be back!

Love the vibes, friendly staff, and good food. It’s Bellevue so it’s on the pricey side for Italian, but worth it. We come here for date nights and anniversaries and never had a bad meal. Squid ink pasta is my fave

My fiancée and I are getting married in a few days, and wanted one more fancy dinner before our wedding. This place was recommended to me by a client of mine who is a bartender here, I think his name is Drew. He mentioned its owned by the same people who used to own another restaurant my fiancée loved going to. The host staff was amazing and able to move our reservation up by an hour since we were so early getting into town. Our server, Miguel, was phenomenal. So attentive and polite, it seemed like nothing was going to break his stride. Despite there being some loud parties happening around us, the atmosphere was incredible, and the food was to die for. The entire ride home, my fiancée was just talking about how good the left overs were going to be for lunch tomorrow. 10/5 stars, will ABSOLUTELY be coming here again!!

Disappointing experience. The food was just not enjoyable. Even the presentation was disappointing. On a positive note, good service but if I didn't call out the poor quality (i.e., two burnt dishes) they would have let us eat them and pretend that it was edible. Manager and waiter were apologetic and comped the food. But not worth the return visit.

Excellent food and service. BUT--the noise level is so high that it is difficult to communicate with eating partners. We will stick with the Seattle branch, which also has excellent food and an environment more conducive to social interaction.
Wanted to love it! Unfortunately it just didn't live up to what we have heard from others. Ordered 4 separate entrees and no one was particularly happy with their food. Very average food in comparison to several other Italian restaurants in Seattle with a much more authentic and affordable menu. Bummer as we were celebrating my dads 80th and really wanted something special and unique.
