“Overpriced Hype, Underwhelming Taste.”

I visited Chutneys last evening and honestly, I was quite disappointed with the overall experience. While the staff was friendly and attentive (service deserves 4/5), the food and drinks did not live up to the hype or pricing. Here’s my breakdown:
• Kadak Chai – I specifically asked if they had good chai and ordered it with high expectations. Unfortunately, it was not good at all.
• Amritsari Fish (Starter) – Did not meet expectations; lacked taste and freshness. Rating: 0.5/5
• Palak Paneer – The gravy was decent, but the paneer was hard and chewy, which spoiled the dish. Rating: 2.5/5
• Mumbai Cha Kolhapuri Chicken – An average dish at best. Rating: 2.5/5
• Tandoori Roti – Extremely hard, almost painful to chew, and we had to leave it halfway.
• Pesto Naan – Felt like plain naan with pesto smeared on top after baking; very disappointing. Rating: 0.5/5
• Garlic Naan – Slightly better but still too chewy.

Overall Rating: 0.5/5
This place feels overrated and overpriced. While the staff will enthusiastically promote their food and make you feel welcomed, the actual taste and quality are nowhere close to the claims. Definitely not worth the hype.

I was there for my birthday last night with my family, and our server really made our day! She was so thoughtful and made sure we had a great celebration, taking care of the tiniest details!! Thank you so much. The food and ambience are pretty good as well.

I don’t have much to say. The food here sucks. We went in hungry, ate very little and walked out hungry. I’m pretty disappointed with not just the food, but the attitude of the hostess as well. If you value your health, don’t eat here because I’m pretty certain that it is made of poor quality ingredients. The food was super oily and the oil was super stale. After eating just one bite, we were super disgusted. They didn’t even bother to ask why our food was untouched.. The location is excellent, but there are far better choices to dine-in in the area.

Great food and service. Very attentive keeping water glass filled. Would recommend the Kulcha bread, Rogan Josh and Shikanji drink.

Best option for indian flavors. Trust me you will not miss indian food if you are here. Owners are very friendly too. Visited twice during my 5 days stay in Bellevue. Must visit place.

I’ve never had such oily Indian curry’s anywhere like this place . Don’t get me wrong the flavors are delicious but I feel so gross after consuming the curries . I don’t remember it being so oily. Feels like atherosclerosis is just around the corner. Just an icky feeling … please use less oil. The fact it took less that 10 minutes to make the two curries I ordered is also disappointing, shows it’s probably just highly processed, frozen and simply unhealthy fast food . Not expecting healthy meals eating out but this food was so disgustingly oily

From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was beautiful and welcoming. The decor is modern and elegant, and the seating is super comfortable. The food? Incredible! Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and presented so well.
The drinks were refreshing and creative, and the service was just as impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a great time.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic flavors, a great vibe, and top-notch service. Can’t wait to visit again!

One of the finest exp outside india . Awesome experience . Food is close to authentic indian cooking style .

Very good fresh food and taste was superb. We visited from NJ and I must say the food quality would beat any NJ Indian restaurant.
