A breadth of fresh air. I was looking for a nightcap and the staff welcomed me in even after they posted the forbidden closed sign.
The caipirinha I ordered took me back to São Paulo. But it wasn’t the perfect drink. It was, Jordan that made it. The most skilled social engineer I’ve met in years.
I was ready to pour my heart out over some silly trama but he saved me from myself. Cheers 🍻 I owe you one 😉 I’ll be back the next time I need a friend to eloquently tell me to shut up.

My husband and I came here for a drink on our anniversary. The drinks were okay, fancier presentation than flavor, but we had to wait 25 minutes to get them. And then when we were leaving, they slapped automatic gratuity onto the check? I don't mind tipping but it's not like we were a table of eight, and after waiting almost half an hour for drinks I probably would have only tipped 10%.

Civility & Unrest is a stylish bar with great service and delicious drinks. The food was also really good, and everything came out nicely presented. The only downside was how loud it got — it was hard to keep a conversation going with my friends. If you’re here for cocktails and atmosphere, it’s perfect, but if you want to chat, you might want to pick a quieter spot. Keep in mind 20% tips included in the check.

Very average cocktail bar experience. The place isn’t that speakeasy-esque if you have been to the good ones. Each drink comes out to be $25 - NOT AT ALL WORTH IT. Stay away from this place. Ding for bellevue.
A brilliant experience with the bartender Sonji providing perfect advise on the perfect whiskey sour. Would highly recommend listening to Sonji and his recommendations. Made for a great night.and the Snacks were delicious

Civility and unrest is amazing. Our server was absolutely amazing. He is very knowledgeable about the menus . We all have very different tastes and he was able to pinpoint exactly what we wanted. Also super personable and funny . Love him!

Went here and the service was excellent. Walked in and loved the dark n moody vibe. You can hear conversations and not loud. Elijah the guy with the beard and bartender did amazing service. Ordered old fashion cocktails and it was great. Would come back!

This is my go-to speakeasy spot in Bellevue, and the only one that exists to my knowledge. I have been taking my spouse and coworkers here for years. Not only the civility part of the bar but the unrest on the other side. It has a Seattle vibe to it for sure. Bellevue patrons are a tough crowd although and thrive on boring cocktails versus trying new experiences. The service charge is for workers to be paid fair wages versus relying on tips alone so I wouldn't say it's deceptive at all. Prices are in line with high end cocktails in the area.

Didnt try any food but was greeted quickly and servers in back were amazing. Make reservations for when Caety is performing you wont regret it.
This place is a little hidden and accessible from the outside entrance in the south tower with big doors with the W hotel insignia - there are stairs that sre visible but civility is next to the stairs where the ropes are
Its across from the Bellevue Mall
I ubered here but there is mall parking and public parking - unsure about vouchers.
