For the tfollowers of combo restaurant, I had a conversation with Linda in the past two weeks and today or tomorrow will be their last day serving their iconic Chinese food of College Hill. Like several who post here I have been pleased to eat the food from Combo with delight since 1990. My husband's family ate there even earlier from the mid 80s. Back in the day there was either Ming Tree downtown Bellevue or Combo. Ming Tree is now Whole Foods. Like others have said energetic Linda is KP the wife and she does a great job of greeting and visiting and handling your order. We haven't met her husband but his food is consistent and great recipes! The first time their pricing ever went up that I noticed was during Covid. But if anyone ever says the portions changed they are wrong. Her husband really knows how to pack the boxes and one box would explode and fill a whole family size serving bowl! They were very slow in raising their prices compared to everything around them. Our regular order for the family of six was Egg drop soup sweet-and-sour chicken Almond chicken Singapore noodles Chicken chow mein Combo fried rice We will never forget! We'd like to leave 1,000 hugs for the owners!

Best Asian food around, I've been coming here since I was a baby. The food always tastes amazing!! My family always gets the number 9, and hot and sour soup with wonton. SOOO GOOD. And their egg-rolls are HUGE and super flavorful

I am so happy I found this perfect small corner restaurant near me!! I have been craving Almond fried chicken at an acceptable price and they did not disappoint! Probably the best almond fried chicken I have had in years! Ordered Almond fried chicken, egg rolls and Filipino Lumpia! Hefty portions, tasted fresh and crispy. The food was excellent! They definitely have a new customer for life! Highly recommend!

This restaurant is always amazing. I love to get the Almond Chicken meal and the Egg Flower Soup. Tonight, was the soup. I live 30 minutes away, and the soup still kinda burnt my tongue, it was so hot and great!!! Amazing service and food!

My family has been coming to Combo for generation! With my parents in the late seventies and now with my kids and grandkidsit is our favorite Chinese Restaurant and always our place to go!We are now all out of the area yet travel back as often as we can it's always like coming home Linda and her family are wonderful people and the food is great! It is the best place to go when you are hungry for cozy comfort Chinese food! We all have our favorite and Linda knows them by heart! Although everything on the menu is tasty! We love this place and the owners we will miss them so much when they retire and close their doors for good! Their the Best!!!???
I have been coming to this restaurant for over 35 years. The outside looks dumpy however, the same owners (Linda)are there to serve your meals. It's called the combo because you get about five or six course meal for eight dollars and you can't beat it!! Best Chinese food in town!!

Great place for lunch or dinner.Falafel sandwich is my go to since I don't really eat meat. Lentil soup is very delicious. House salad tastes very fresh and the dressing is homemade.Must try the home made ice tea it's very tasty.

Hello this is a tough review for me I've been going to her for over 35 years and they used to have the best Chinese food on the east side I wouldn't give them a four star but the prices keep going up and the portions keep going down.The place is ran by Linda and her husband and the food has been consistent for over 35 years and the menu has never changed in fact it's still the same carpeting the only thing they've done is put in new booths and a light remodel with bigger TVs if you want to get a hole in the wall and quick food i'd recommend it. The best wonton soup I've ever had!
