I was a bit skeptical of this place based on the menu pricing. The serving size at most Dim Sum places are quite “small” (size and quantity), so to pay double digits for a dish seemed a bit steep. But we were celebrating a birthday, so it was worth trying once.
I apologize for doubting this place. All items are double orders (so 8 pieces instead of 4), but what really was the delightful surprise was the size of the pieces. You know ur in a good place when it takes 2 bites to eat one piece. Food was delicious and tasty. My only criticism is the Red Vinegar on the table, tasted a bit watered down.
Efficient and attentive staff. No cheap styrofoam to go boxes AND they don’t charge you for the containers. I appreciate that.

The best sesame balls I've had. The walnut shrimp was also really yummy. The server was very kind.

I have been in Bellevue for almost ten years now, and their house special seafood congee used to be my absolute favorite, but it’s sad that it isn’t the same anymore. $13.99 for a container of burnt (yes it tasted very burnt today) watery congee with fish balls and squid is just crazy. Yes it’s been around $10.99 years ago and the price hasn’t gone up as much, but I’m ok paying 10/10 price for 10/10 food. I don’t care if the better ingredients (it used to feature scallops) means a higher food cost hence higher price, I’m willing to pay the price for legitimate product, but I’m not willing to pay a 6/10 price while receiving 3/10 food. I have been disappointed quite a few times in the past few years, but every time I crave for the old goodness and had hopes for what ifs. This might be the last time I do this, I have been patient waiting for things to come out of COVID impact, but I’m afraid it’ll never be the old way ever again.

Plus, there was one staff coughing VIOLENTLY, like she’s coughing her lungs out, without any self-consciousness whatsoever. I worked in the industry so I understand sometimes you don’t have a choice to stay home when you’re not feeling well, but at least wear a mask, or use your elbow to cover, or try to close your mouth. Coughing with your mouth wide open and no attempt try to contain it is utterly gross, especially in a restaurant.

First time here with my wife. Service was great and prompt. The atmosphere was good as well, the food was not so good. We order siu mai, jacao, bean curd, sticky rice, chicken feet, shrimp rice roll, bbq pork pie, wonton soup and egg tarts. The dissapointment came with the wonton soup, broth tasted more like noodle water. Chicken feet(my usual favorite)was bland and hard, sticky rice did not have to much flavor, bbq pork pie was very soagie and basically disintegrated on my hand. Bean curd was dried. Usually I don't complain but after expending 100 bucks on food, I expected more. Please fix

It takes forever to get served, and the food is mediocre as well. Almost no meat in Chow Fun. Noodles are tasteless.

Food is good. But the service is so poor - one of the worst that I ever experienced. Be cautious if you plan to have dinner, they might recommend food that’s leftover

Be cautious eating here. New ownership is horrible. They cheat customers. They charge $6 for tea and not even tell you until you receive the bill. There main food entrees are filled with unnecessary vegetable fillers so they can cheat you on the amount of meat they put in it. They put very little chicken, beef, and fish. I ordered a fish entree, they put chunks of onions to make it look like there is a lot of fish in it. We went there for a work party and everyone was disappointed and felt cheated with the food. The new owners also own Top Gun Restaurant in Factoria, Bellevue. If you dine here, you’ll see what I’m talking about. I do not recommend this place. They “RIP you Off here”! Cheat customers!

The vegetable dumplings were still a bit frozen/cold inside. Ordering anything non-dim sum was a wait time of an hour, very understaffed. The chicken shu mai was ok, at least it wasn't cold. I don't like that their dim sum sizes are double that of normal (with double the price), so it's not good for wanting to try a variety, but the ding in stars is really the food being cold and understaffing. It was so difficult getting any service here.

Poor food quality. Still extremely dirty. The old top gun was a few grades higher. 🤨

Beware of forced high % tip surcharges. Even for parties 5 or less. The minimum they enforce is 18.5% , and is announced anywhere.
I would give 20, but the service is not that great. They were inflexible in offering another table.
