Steak sandwich has gross aftertaste and just doesn’t taste good at all

I went with my family a little before noon when it was really quiet.I got the chimmichuri steak sandwich and it was pretty bad. The sandwich had a very unpleasant aftertaste from the blowtorch they used on the steak. Also, took 12 minutes to get my sandwich when no one else was there ordering. Not sure why, but it seemed like the folks there weren't interested in getting food out in a timely manner. Disappointing experience. Maybe it was a one-off but I really didn't enjoy my meal there.

Great sandwiches. Wish they were slightly larger and more consistent however as sometimes the portions are slightly less inside the sandwich.

Basically an expensive Subway. The whole experience here was expensive with no real reason to be. First, the service… there was none. You’re supposed to order from a tablet on the front counter. The staff was frustrated that I dare ask how to order. Then they didn’t know how to answer questions about the menu. And then the menu asked how big of a tip to leave! The atmosphere… it’s located inside the giant food hall in the mall. It ended up being really loud, but at least they had their own seating area with cool modern chairs. Finally, the food… actually pretty good. I had the steak sandwich and it was delicious, even if the goat cheese was too tart for the overall dish. Would I eat here again? Maybe I’d order takeout, but yes. It was tasty and a good lunch.

Fun lunch spot located in the Lincoln Square tower. They do fresh salads and sandwiches! The sandwiches come out hot and are big enough to split with a friend or colleague if you need. I personally recommend the salami sandwich! If you’re in the tower for work or stopping by to shop there or shopping in Bellevue Square I would highly recommend stopping in. They are located in a little food court type of area with places to get boba tea or coffee if you need that on the go as well!

Not sure what happened 7/31 at 6:30pm, but the one person working was just looking at their phone, and proceeded to make a $20 sandwich look and taste like a $6 sandwich.. not much flavor to the steak, had barely any chimichurri sauce. Honestly barely any filling. Not worth the money .. I just tossed the rest of the sandwich in the trash after picking out 4 small pieces of meat , otherwise I would have had a really sad photo to share.. maybe hire someone who actually likes slinging tasty sandos. That wasn’t the vibe I was getting with them just scrolling on their phone .

Great place to get sandwiches. The sandwiches were very flavorful, a bit smaller than expected. I highly recommend the pork belly sandwich. Their drinks were also very good. I recommend and would come back.

The Rendang was so dang good! My gf got the club and it was huge! Just got the steak today and I also liked that but the Rendang was just so good to me
Got the Rendang sandwich for lunch, so good! I feel like bread is easy to overlook but they nailed it with roll on this one - 10/10. The beef is tender and moist, and the ratio of veggies + sauce made for a great eating experience. Clearly used quality ingredients and I’ll be back again 🔥

Loved it! We had a cold sandwich (huge) and a panini. The quality was amazing, very fresh and really tasty. Exceptionally clean, service was great, and they really knew the menu. Lincoln South Food Hall is a really cool place for a quick lunch with great food. Highly recommend Eat Dirt. We will absolutely go back!
