They are understaffed, we were left unattended at the front desk for a long time even our reservation was current. Waitress had a long face and mean voice all the time. Great job.

Despite having an early reservation, we were seated at literally the worst table in the house, basically IN the salad bar. Then we ordered 2 glasses of the same wine. Our server asked if we wanted the bottle instead, but had no idea of the price. So we asked for the bottle list. The wine we ordered was not on it. After arguing with me trying to tell me it was a completely different wine, finally realized it wasn't and said “oh, that one isn't available by the bottle.” Ok fine, we'll just take the glasses we ordered. So they brought the bottle over and were about to pour, when I stopped them because they brought a completely different wine! They again tried to argue and tell me it wasn't, only conceding when I pointed out what we ordered is from France, what they tried to serve us is from California. So he goes away to bring the right bottle, simply returning with a white (instead of rosé) from the same California winery!! So he goes back AGAIN only to return and say they don't have the one we ordered at all, but this one is the same price, despite it being a FAR inferior wine. There was no apology, no real acknowledgment even that anything was amiss. The food was fine as always, but the whole horrid service scenario was super frustrating and honestly, ruined the whole experience.

It's been 10 years since visiting Fogo de Chão down in San Jose, CA. Last night‘s experience was everything I remembered, and come to expect.

I've always enjoyed my dining experience at Fogo de Chao whether its for a business lunch, special occasion dinner or group gathering. This time, Melvin, was our server, he was courteous and very polite. Made our dining experience quite enjoyable.

This was an extraordinary experience, as was each of my previous three visits. It was my daughter‘s birthday and what a lovely afternoon it was.

I was so excited to dine at Fogo de Chao in Bellevue. I have been to other similar places in the past, and have enjoyed the food and the concept. Unfortunately, the experience was not what I had looked forward to. The entry was packed shoulder to shoulder with people all waiting for their reservations. Many of us had to wait for a long time to be seated while I saw others (I am thinking of a table of 7 that had a reservation for 8:00) be seated an hour early because they had forgotten what time they had made their reservation and arrived early). While the host attempted to temp people with food samples, the food was left out at the front desk where each person who came to check in and/or inquire were talking over/breathing on, etc. the food. Eesh. The noise level was so loud that my husband and I couldn't even hold a conversation during dinner. The servers were very helpful and attentive! Although the food was tasty and somewhat varied (though the anticipated feijoada was not impressive,) I ended up getting sick from the food soon after leaving. All in all, it was not the evening I had hoped it would be. I wonder if the Seattle location is similar, but I am hesitant to try it given our experience.

Went to Fogo de Chão Bellevue on November 1st around 7PM, and honestly, I’m super disappointed. We got seated right away, but our server took forever just to come take our drink order. We ended up going to the salad bar and started eating, and still—no one checked on us. No water refills, no “how’s everything,” nothing. This is supposed to be one of the nicer, more expensive restaurants, and usually they ask if you’re celebrating something. My boyfriend even noted on the reservation that it was my birthday, but no one said a word. The only person who came by was the lady serving shots of liquor—that’s literally how we managed to order a drink. By the time we were done eating, the server finally showed up to clear plates but didn’t ask if we wanted dessert or were ready for the check. The table just sat empty for several minutes. For a place like Fogo de Chão, I expected way better service. Definitely disappointed with this branch. 👎

It took us 20 minutes to get seated even though we had a reservation. The meat items came quickly,a bit rushed for us and most of it was overcooked some too fatty. We had to call over a server anytime we wanted something—they never proactively asked us for anything except at the beginning for drinks, which took over 10 minutes to arrive. It was my son's birthday request to eat at Fogo but the quality and service have gone downhill. We didn't eat much for $70 pp. Never again.

Wait service was very slow. Our original waiter left us without letting us know and we had no service for a while until the new waitress came by and served us.

We come every few months. It's a fun experience! They could work on the culture at the location a bit more. Would be great to see some smiles, friendly faces and motivated staff. Our favorites are normally the picahna, grilled cheese and garlic steak.

Despite having a reservation, we were made to wait almost an hour before being seated. It was frustrating and disappointing, especially since we expected better organization and respect for scheduled reservations.

They served us raw chicken and server left is wo drinks for 25 minutes and brought the wrong drinks. For 100 per person I expected more.

Poor service and lousy food quality, masked as an upscale restaurant... don't fall for the gimmick.

Lovely restaurant with a lively atmosphere. The wait staff are very attentive and food plentiful. The steak was almost raw, which some of our party could not eat. Whole fish dish and brûlée cheesecake were delicious.

Service and quality were just a lillte bit off tonight. Did not hold up to the normally great experience.
