$55 for a standard upmarket hotel breakfast is too steep. I mentioned this to a senior staff member, who shot back - “yes, but the quality”. The quality was average and what I’d expect, the price was extraordinary - and charging an extra $6 for a decidedly average espresso was cheeky.
