Great Harvest has a deserved reputation for quality food. This place has a hit & miss history with me, though. Wife loves the bread and Saturday cinnamon buns so I am a frequent visitor. I have a hard time with a staff that seems either overwhelmed or just plain disinterested. I never feel like anyone really wants to be here or has any enthusiasm towards the customer. ie; I've never once been offered a sample when I come in. However, there does seem to be an interest...
hot melty breakfast sandwiches on warm soft bread for $6, really hits the spot. had a cream cheese pastry, not too sweet, just right.

I use to love their apple crunch, grew up eating it. But recently I tried it again for nostalgia, and it barely has any apple in it at all. It’s not the same as it used to be. Might not buy it anymore until they add more apple again. It’s nice that you can try different breads in the shop and add butter and honey. See photo: no apple at all in most of the slices. It used to be that most slices had at least 2-3 chunks of apple :(
