Happy Lemon Bellevue (140th AVE NE)

50% sugar on my drinks was more like 150% sugar even kids couldn’t drink it.
The people inside making drinks don’t seem happy. The lady was pretty snippy but that’s ok as long as they can make the drink right.

Wasted 23 bucks plus tips on drinks we couldn’t drink. Try other places

Without fail, the folks behind the counter are so unfriendly and rude! I’m sure they don’t want to be here. Makes me super uncomfortable to come in and I try not to take it personally. Would give it one star but the drinks and bubble waffles are decent. I have, however, started going to other boba places and skipping this one.

Horrible service!! Seems the management hires the most unfriendly people on earth. The staffs are super unfriendly. I have been there 4/5 times. Specifically Each of the staffs who took order was very unfriendly. I asked avocado matcha to have slightly less ice. They rudely says no. I know they can’t do it without ice but in all locations they respect this small request or at least politely say no to it. But I don’t understand may be all staffs st Bellevue location are not properly trained. Look at bothell or Lynwood location such a friendly location!
If the staffs would have worn name tags on them, i could specifically report it and not blame other staffs.
Please act on it before you lose customers.

I ordered avocado Macha and asked if they could customize the ice - they said no. But I saw them adding ice. I don't understand why they said no then. It tastes full of ice - really didn't like it. I tried the same thing in Kirkland few days back and they customized when I asked for less ice - I really liked that one. Happy lemon needs to train their staff the same at all places. I don't blame the staff but the happy lemon. One more thing I noticed in happy lemon is they waste a lot of juice/drink - they just drain it if they make more than that fits in the cup - happy lemon needs to come up with a strategy of not wasting quality food. Overall I love happy lemon drinks but not at this Bellevue location - I went twice so far - disappointed both the times.

Horrible staff! When my 4-year-old son accidentally dropped his drink, they didn't assist with cleaning up the mess, nor did they say thank you when we cleaned it up. To top it off, we had to pay for the drink again. Also, when we walk in, they don’t greet us or make any eye contact. Instead, they get frustrated and give us rude looks when we’re trying to order.

Bad service! I took 2 kids and ordered for a milk boba tea (around 4:30pm Jul 23rd, 2024). We waited more than half an hour and when I checked with the staffs (2 at the counter), they simply replied the order may have been taken by someone else (while we were at the location all the time). First, it is not clear that whether the order was mistaken or the staffs forgot about that order (they never reveal). Second, if the order was mistaken, what is the purpose of using order # to pickup because anyone can take any order? Third, the first reactions of the staffs never show empathy that the kids were waiting for more than half an hour, simply it's not their fault. I have never seen such a low customer service quality. Obviously, this is my last time to visit this Happy Lemon brand.

Garbage service. Visited this morning and ordered 3 waffles and 3 beverages to go. 2 lady staff with long face the whole time looked like customers owed them. Not willing to provide tray for drinks. Worst customer service ever seen.

I ordered a half chocolate and half original bubble waffle. The chocolate one tasted odd and sour, so I informed the staff, hoping they would stop using the mix that made mine. The staff member responded that the mix was made the day before, implying it was still fresh. However, there's no guarantee that all the ingredients in the mix were fresh. I decided not to argue further and ended up throwing away the chocolate waffle. Unfortunately, a few hours later, I experienced diarrhea. While they could argue it was caused by something else I ate, this was the only thing my friend didn’t eat, and she was completely fine. I'm confident it was the chocolate mix that had gone bad.

This Happy Lemon is getting one star because their online ordering is always set to "store is closed." The boba is fine, but the drinks aren't consistent.
