Two times I've been here and two times I've been amazed! The food here is about average but the dessert toasts they make are sooooo good and easily customizable

This is a spacious Taiwanese cafe in a small outdoor mall, serving a wide variety of traditional dishes, emphasizing small plates and eye-catching desserts. There are many starch options, often accented with meat, while pure vegetable options are a bit limited, Most dishes have a few vegetables mixed in, but it's not a great place for vegetarians. The Taiwanese pork burger (pinch bun) seen at various local Taiwanese restaurants is still a winner here, but HardWok may offer a broader variety of other dishes. The big showstopper is definitely the full-sized honey toast, a half-loaf of bread with the inside slices buttered and toasted, covered with ice cream, mochi, fruit, chocolate, etc.On my most recent visit, we also got complimentary jellies (jasmine tea and coffee) with the bill.

1. Ready for waiting 30min+ after placing order even not crowded. I asked twice about my order but still keep me waiting.2. It is ridiculous that Taiwanese restaurant with “Simplified Chinese menu” rather Traditional Chinese.

Love this place! We lucked out and hit the first day of mango toast box for the season. Mmm. Split between 5 people, plus potstickers and pork blood cakes. Everything was delicious!

We just ordered milk teas to-go, but they were tasty! My jasmine milk tea tasted very authentic and tea was steep just right. I got it with grass jelly and they gave a good amount. We love their modern ordering system through mobile use. We got to easily order & pay on our phone without dealing with a server. I'll return to this location and order some food items next time. Menu looked delicious!

Been wanted to try this restaurant for a while, always lots of patrons. Lots of menu items I am not familiar with...I love a food adventure! :). We order the mixed gizzard platter, chicken gizzards, seaweed, marinated tofu, soy sauce hard boiled eggs and scallions with a nice sauce to compliment the items on the platter. We order the egg noodles as a side dish for the platter. Was craving Taiwanese spicy beef noodle soup. Yummy... definitely has a kick (spice) but was still savory and tolerable for my palate. Overall food was very good, and will definitely return to try other menu items! Service was good, the dining area is well kept and clean. Plenty of parking available

The food was pretty decent. The cucumber was good and a little on the spicy end. The cold noodle sauce was quite rich and there isn't any protein so it could easily get a little greasy. The popcorn chicken rice was good though, wish there is some veggies added to that. The toast was amazing though! Took a little (~10-15min) to have it out but it was great. Would definitely recommend coming for this dessert. Overall good experience just a little wait between here and there.

the staff from this place is really kind, the food is great, traditional food from Taiwan and the price is not bad either, the pork pottage noodle soup was my favorite, their desserts are a must to try too.

Soup noodle was okay. The drink (lacked tea flavor). Downstairs from an apartment building area. Easy parking.

Food is eh, the service was worst, and it's damn near $7 for a watermelon to be blended into your drink as a small.

We ordered strawberry panna cota, wonton soup, popcorn chicken, Taiwanese fried pork chop with rice, and sweet tofu pudding. I've always been a fan of their strawberry panna cota since I am so near this place I usually go there to just eat that dessert. The popcorn chicken is also a must to order since it is very crispy, the sweet tofu pudding reminds me our Filipino dessert delicacy called "taho" which is made of the same thing so this dessert brings me back home. The wonton soup has a good soup but I wouldn't say it's the best wontons for me since I usually like thinner wrapper. Overall I like their payment system too very modern now with qr codes and being able to pay online too.
