I went there on wife's recommendation oh boy what a sheer disappointment with food and cleanliness. Ordered Combo breakfast and got a hard idly which is sour and vada which is not well cooked as inside is all batter. Chutneys are watered down consistency and l had. I tempering . Sambar tastes crappy. . I will never visit this place again. Overrated and over crowded.

Surely, value for money. Felt absolutely like entering a typical restaurant in Tamil Nadu, the entire looks of it and the smell. Dosa, Sambar, Coconut chutney, pongal, Medhu Vadai, Gulab Jamun - everything was good. I’m yet to try their poori and more.

We went to Jayam Tiffins for breakfast. The combo and the poori was great. The taste and spice level was just right. The filter coffee was excellent. They have a good lunch menu as well and we are looking forward to trying it next time.

Pretty tasty dosas. Sambar is nothing but the best in town. Place is decorated with lot of gods, but the place is untidy. Looks like the owner pleases gods with lot of uncleaned tables, sticky floor and food scrapes all over the place.

Went here for lunch with some friends after a short hike. We got the poori with potato and a Mysore masala dosa. Both were pretty good and quite authentic, but the portions did not justify the price. The food is fresh, the restaurant gets crowded, everything is made to order and tastes like home, just doesn't feel worth the price. I'd probably skip going here again.

Though some of the food items were good, restaurant wasn’t clean at all. As another reviewer has pointed out, doesn’t give confidence about kitchen cleanliness either.Hope they can get it fixed soon.

No frills place. All vegetarian. Usual Tamil Nadu cuisine. Tried the thali. Came with 2 vegetable entrees, sambar, rasam, vathal kuzambu, sweet, yogurt, pickle, papad, white rice. Not too spicy. The koothu parata was ok, butter masala dosa came with coconut chutney and peanut chutney and sambar. Service was pretty slow ascthey were busy fulfilling takeouts rather than attending to people in the restaurant. However the hostess was kind enough to get us extra cup of yogurt. The filter coffee was delicious. The menu options are limited and prices comparable to area restaurants. However suggest you get your own flatware or be prepared to eat with your hand as the plastic spoons are unusable.

Tried this restaurant for the first time. Great food with authentic flavor. Super helpful staff. Dosas were amazing. The only thing we didn’t like were the chutneys, could have been better.

They seem like hard working people and doing reasonably good food. But the place is barely a couple months old and yet the seating area around kitchen is all so disorganized and dirty. The floor feels like an unclean sidewalk. Doesn’t instill confidence about kitchen cleanliness. Don’t need an elaborate ambiance but just keep it neat and tidy!

We are so excited to have a good South Indian restaurant on the East side. We have been here multiple times and liked everything we have tried. We love their Masala dosa, Mysore masala dosa, Medhu Vada, and Poori Masala. Of their special items, we have tried the Veg biryani, veg pulao, and Jackfruit biryani, and liked all of them. Also, like their buttermilk and Badam milk.

They'll only worry about dine in orders. You'll have to wait for eternity to get your order. You can see people coming 20 mins after you, eating and leaving before you. Never go to this place, for to go to orders.
