Good ramen, quick service. Prices a bit high: I paid $20 + tax for a bowl of Black Tonkotsu.
Very attentive and sweet staff, the food is really good too!!! The interior is very good for a lunch or dinner catch up! Had a very good experience.
Nice comfy taste for ramen. The staff are nice and friendly. Place vibes are family centric.
JINYA Ramen Bar - Bellevue serves rich, flavorful ramen bowls packed with authentic Japanese ingredients. A must-visit for anyone craving a warm, comforting meal!
I was very happy with the vegetarian options. The vegan ramen and vegan gyoza were absolutely delicious.
One of the worst Raman I have ever had, no taste at all and the noodle quality is similar to one I cook at home, disappointed and expensive $20 for a small bowl

One of my favorite ramen in Bellevue, always great food, service, and experience.
I ordered spicy chicken ramen (hot) with sesame seeds on the side. The broth was not rich and flavorful. Ramen was not spicy even though I ordered highest level. I felt it was more of pho than ramen. I ordered bean sprouts on the side which were not fresh, defrosted . It was charged too.
Ramen is also on pricier side compared to other ramen places

We came here a bit before 6pm but there was only one group of customers. We sat down and ordered quickly. The menu looks the same as last time since they got a new owner back then (it's been a while though).
I got the spicy creamy vegan ramen ($19.8) with low sodium, and hubby got the Jinya Tonkotsu black ($19.8) with low sodium and firm noodles. I ordered the vegan ramen because it's the #1 most ordered on door dash for some reason... I need to find out why it's popular!!
Our food came after 10 minutes, and they look good. I initially thought the broth was too spicy, but the more I eat it and mix the soup, the less spicy it gets. In the end, I enjoyed the broth a lot. Though I was hoping it'd come with meat instead of tofu since I don't think tofu goes well with ramen, and I also wish my noodles were a bit more firm as well.
They took a while to redeem my dessert plate for my birthday, but they have good attitude and I really didn't mind waiting. They also made sure I got points for our food today as well.
The dessert plate was the panna cotta with a chocolate mochi ice cream (est. $9.25). I didn't really care about the mochi ice cream, but the panna cotta was good. The caramel cream sauce was a bit too sweet but not overwhelming. I enjoyed it a lot.
They started to fill up when we leave around 6:30 pm. I think this is a good dining experience and definitely sign up for their loyalty program if you haven't already. I believe their ramen is more expensive than other places, but the dessert plate was good.

My favorite is the tonkotsu black bowl, with a pork soboro mix-in :) Goes great with a big spoonful of the sriracha-style sauce in the "Hot Sauce" jar, and a Sapporo draft

While still a solid choice for ramen, not as good as when I was going pre COVID. The portions are smaller and as can be seen in my prior review, prices have gone to $19 for a bowl of ramen vs. $13...a universal truth in the cost of living, but this is slightly above average.
No traditional greetings but the manager and server asked me repeatedly if I had what I needed and asked about my satisfaction with the meal.
Still super busy in here...a solid choice, just not number one.
2018 review:
Proper Japanese greetings meet you when you enter Jinya...and that, along with how busy it is, are good signs.
This is an LA based chain...I think it reps well.
My Tokyo Tonkotsu Special ramen ($13) was very good - hot and the toppings were well prepared, especially the tamago (egg). Gyoza and Takoyaki were solid as well. But my absolute favorite item was the Crispy Eel with Avocado and Tofu....I think I could eat 2 orders by myself!
Brisk and attentive service, crowded parking lot, crowded restaurant....my favourite chains are Marutama and Santouka...but I'm happy to go here!

Ramen isn’t very flavorful. The “spicy” one isn’t spicy at all.
