Historically 'Jonah and the Whale' was 'The' place for top gourmet dining on the East side.....now its tired and failing its famed reputation. Still a good dinner house. Dont expect much from the regular breakfast buffet tho. Un trained personnel, under cooked meats (dangerous), terrible scrambled eggs....save your 12$ and your good willfor one of the many wonderful establishments in Bellevue. I think the Red Lion Brand needs a shake up....good luck!

First off, DO NOT go based off the menu posted by the photos. That is not the menu. The actual menu was smaller and more pricey. That being said, I like the food. I am huge Burger fan and I ordered the classic American cheeseburger. Maybe it was just the not eating anything but airplane pretzels all day, but it was by far one of the best burgers I have had. My Fiancée's Cod was okay. It made her stomach a little upset. The waiter was nice, but I guess he was from a different property and only came over to help because they were short on staff. Overall a nice dinner. I am disappointed that it is shared by the hotel because the hotel staff are absolutely terrible. ‍♂️

We stayed at the red lion and had a shrimp appetizer. Do not. I repeat do not eat here! Ruined our stay. We both got sick. Not happy..

Remarkably disgusting! Snowed in tonight and stuck ordering from the (horrifying) Red Lion hotel restaurant. I first try to order room service, which is beyond painful; the restaurant doesn't do room service any longer but will bring a menu to my room, and also gives me a real plate with flatware (how is this not room service?!), doesn't have an online menu, and says they're out of their Buffalo Blue Cheese Avocado Toast on fresh baguette but when I ask for each individual ingredient, yep they have them all. Their menu looks normal, so I then order a chicken Caesar salad and the avocado toast (and hike through the snow to get it, because yay no room service), but what do I get?? Gray chicken with zero seasoning probably scooped up from the dumpster outside and the Fyre Festival of avocado toast! $28 for this?!

The online menu is 0 to what the menu actually is. The restaurant REEKS of cigarette smoke. Service stinks.

Not the best food ever. We gave it two tries. Nachos at night and a breakfast buffet the next day. The only reason that we tried the breakfast buffet was because the server knew that the nachos were not good and gave us coupons for the next meal.

Restsurant at Red Lion Hotel. Went in for a late night small bite. Avacado toast was pricey but good, server was nice :) HOWEVER.....

Place advertised 1.50 draft beers but when you get in they're $3. Whatever no biggie. But, the place was full of fruit flies. Ordered a Manhattan and the drink was full of flies! Tried to tell the waitress/bartender (who didn't know anything about alcohol) tried to say it was just bitters. Bitters don't have wings!! Noticed that they don't put the lids on anything so the jar was full of bugs. Friends burger also showed up with a rock hard stale hamburger bun. So gross! Never come here. Just over at the next parking lot is the Hilton bar. Go there instead.

Wow! Even for 99c, this was bad! I could bounce my boiled egg off the floor, potatoes on the hot plate were stone cold, and the table was dirty when we were sat. Way to go Red Lion, way to go!

Not worth the price. Watery, powdered eggs, mushy french toast sticks, frozen potatoes, runny oatmeal and mushy fruit. Very disappointed.
