Food was alright, just thought it was more of a Chinese style food serving Japanese style menu. Some would not notice but it definitely shows in some of there dishes such as the Yakisoba which is just chow mein in this case.

Perfect chicken and katsu plate. Salad was fresh and crisp and the dressing delicious as well. There are lots of teriyaki options in the area but this is an excellent one and will be my pick from now on.

Wow, over from Seattle and have tried other teriyaki restaurants and not very good . We stumbled on to this place and what a nice surprise. The place looks new and clean . Service was great and the food was perfect .

I come here a couple times a week for lunch. Bibimbop has been my go-to lately. Prices are $1-2 cheaper than the going rate in the area and give you generous portions. Good service and good people.

We were actually on our way somewhere else to eat when we saw Joy Box and the menu. It looked good so we walked in. The food was so good. The portions are HUGE. Great value for the money. We had the seafood ramen which was super spicy in a good way and full of flavour. We had the katsu chicken bento box which was full of wonder things to try like fried dumplings, spring rolls, noodles, rice and of course katsu chicken. We had fried dumplings and beef bulgogi. Everything was delicious. The restaurant was clean and the vibe was nice. The staff was good. We highly recommend this place.

Small place, and very clean. It's my first time here and I got the curry katsu, and it was delicious and very generous portions for the price. I'll definitely be coming back to check out the rest of the menu. Staff was very friendly as well.

It's weird how I've never stepped in here ever since they replaced the other place. I think we didn't have a good experience with the old place, and that's maybe why.
I ordered the beef bibimbap to go for $15.99 (before tax) and I thought it was flavorful and the portion was good. I also love the green veggie that's in there, but I actually couldn't tell what it was. The sauce was just right as well. I'll get more stuff here in the future.

One of the best lunches I’ve had while on my lunch break from work. Calm environment and such delicious food!! My friend from work agreed I was the quietest I have ever been and it was because I was enjoying my food so much! I’ve tried A LOT of places similar in Bellevue and this place is by far my favorite and the best! So glad our other work friend kept ordering to go from them. I’m already day dreaming about ordering myself lunch on Monday. Very kind staff. We dined in and had a to go and they asked if I wanted it with our order or to wait until we had been eating for a while so it was fresher. Totally worth getting soaked during the hail storm in Bellevue to go here! I loved my chicken teriyaki bento and my coworkers loved the chicken katsu ones. Delicious sauce that reminds me of my childhood fave teriyaki place that closed several years ago, loved the salad, the egg roll, the tempura shrimp, loved it all!! 🫶

The food was absolutely delicious—perfectly grilled chicken with a rich, flavorful sauce, fresh salad, and crispy, golden-brown chicken dumplings. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the portions were very generous!
