Their services are great. We got our table booked and didn't have to wait for long. Their small dishes are delicious especially the cebiche. We ordered the tenderloin for main, and to be honest, it was a bit disappointing. The taste was very average.

Perfect Venue for a Corporate Dinner

This restaurant was the perfect venue for our leadership team dinner during our recent Summit. The entire planning process—from scheduling the reservation to setting the custom menu—was quick and seamless.

The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere is both warm and beautiful, creating a wonderful setting. The food was absolutely delicious, and the custom menu was a huge hit. We especially appreciated that the vegetarian options were clearly labeled. The drinks and cocktails were also incredible.

My entire team loved the experience. Highly recommend!

La mar gave me an experience that was unforgettable. I tasted new flavors that are very unique and refreshing. Everything here is exceptional. Will be coming again from Oregon to visit. And recommend the place to anyone that wants to try Peruvian food.

Everything was perfect except they forgot why we came here tonight and that was because we were celebrating our 10 year anniversary.

Food and service was amazing.. I did feel the server kinda pushing on upselling though the food and drinks were amazing.

We will definitely return.

Parking is easy but you have to walk through Amazon then outside to enter the front of the entrance which is kinda annoying if it had been raining we would've gotten wet.

Warning! Do not put their napkins on your lap if your fabric catches lint. I’ve never seen such ridiculous napkins, but my friend was covered with large white lint bits. I was ok in jeans. Next table had the same issues.

Pros: they validate parking, and the location is nice

Cons: everything else. Service was nonexistent- she never asked if we had any questions about the menu. We could not get the waitress, we had to flag a different one. It’s not service, I think a conveyer belt would have been more effective and attentive. I’ve had Peruvian food many times before in SF and Peru, the food here - I could not tell it tasted Peruvian at all.

We came for the restaurant week lunch: The presentation of the food good, well designed, but lacking some details when they plated it. The taste of the food is okay, the flavor of each dish is strong- the appetizer is very sour, the purple sauce in salmon is strong, and the dessert is too sweet, some people might like this. For the whole time we sat down, no one came to ask if we need more water, it’s kind of hard to find any waiter around us （same situation for the table next to us, no one came to add any water until we finally finished the meal and ask for check). Finally, after we stand up and ready to leave, there’s a bunch of white little flake on both me and my husband’s black pants, which were not there before we sat down…not sure what cause it, maybe the napkin, maybe the table, ehhhh…

An exceptional dining experience at La Mar Bellevue

We hosted a team dinner at La Mar, and everything, from the service to the food, was absolutely outstanding. The personalized menu beautifully showcased authentic Peruvian flavors, and every dish impressed both in quality and presentation.

Most of our guests were locals who hadn’t tried La Mar before, and they left genuinely amazed by the cuisine. The staff was attentive, the atmosphere felt both elegant and vibrant, and the overall experience exceeded expectations.

La Mar is now at the top of ouir list for future group dinners and corporate events. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to discover world-class Peruvian cuisine in Bellevue.

We went with family of 5 and infant, the service was extremely poor for the price. No one came to check on us for a solid 20 minutes and when we did order, 2 items were missing.

This restaurant serves some of the best Peruvian food I’ve ever had! The atmosphere is vibrant and inviting, with beautiful decor and colors that add to the overall experience.
We started with drinks. The pisco sours, available in several flavors, were absolutely delicious and perfectly balanced. For appetizers, we ordered the ceviche tasting, which was incredibly fresh, fragrant, and flavorful, featuring a great variety of seafood and sauces.
Next, we tried the Dungeness crab tacos and the fried octopus. Both were fantastic, but the tacos were easily the best I’ve ever tasted. For our main dish, we had the fried rice, bursting with flavor and complemented by a yellow sauce that’s truly to die for.
We finished with the tres leches cake, which was the most flavorful version I’ve ever had.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone celebrating something special, every dish felt like a celebration of Peruvian cuisine.

Absolutely excellent restaurant! The food was bursting with flavor. Every dish had depth and freshness that made it truly memorable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, taking time to explain each dish and recommend options that suited our dietary preferences.

It was our first time trying Peruvian food, and it exceeded all expectation. Extraordinary taste with layers of flavor in every bite. A fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Definitely coming back again!
