“Tanoor - Bellevue
I had a fantastic experience at Tanoor in Bellevue! I ordered the Batata Harra and the Mixed Kabob Plate, which included chicken, beef, and lamb served with yellow rice. The meats were cooked to perfection—medium rare, just as we like it. We also tried the Spinach Fatayer, which was absolutely delicious.
The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful, with stunning decor that adds to the dining experience. Everything from the food to the atmosphere exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend for anyone looking for flavorful Mediterranean cuisine in a lovely setting!“

“The Lamb Schwarma plate is a feast for the eyes and the taste buds, with a portion to generously have leftovers later! The soup that comes with their plates is comforting without being heavy, and I could eat it every day. Also, if you love garlic, their MK fries are a must buy - my friend & I shared a half order, and came nowhere close to finishing them!“

“Oh my God! One of the best Middle Eastern places in Seattle. The chicken saj is my favorite. When you first bite into the chicken saj, it's pretty simple, just tender chicken and bread. But then you take a another bites and taste lettuce and tomato. Then you take a another bite and you taste the garlic sauce. But the real party starts when you are one third of the sandwich. Now you bite and taste the tender juicy chicken, the bread, the pickles (OMG), the garlic sauce, the red sauce, the tomatos, the onions, the juices created by all the above. Then somewhere in there, the you taste the pure mint leaf. And you're like OMG. And it stays all the way till you finish the wrap and you're left with a delicious saucy juicy mess of a paper wrap in your hand. As you toss it in the bin next to the order counter, watch the big grin on your face in the window reflection, wave good bye to the Yalla folks (Taylor and Matt), and relish the experience til next time.“

“The owner is incredibly personable and is very involved with his restaurant. His staff is very attentive and have excellent customer service skills. I chose a faster made food, the Chicken Kabob (recommended by the owner) and there was nothing that made it feel rushed or made cheap even though the price was amazing for the amount of food that came about 10 mins after ordering. BEST DARN KABOB I'VE EVER HAD IN SEATTLE. I'm sad I didn't try this place out when I lived in the neighborhood 10 yrs ago. I'd be a lot fatter by now...“

“We catered from Garlic Crush Redmond for an afternoon event at our home. The staff were well prepared and we got the food in our car efficiently. The food very well organized, looked great and tasted delicious. No complaints from the 30 guests and the event was fantastic. Lots left over for dinner later too. Thank you and we will definitely use again and recommend to others.“

“super cute restaurant. Love the atmosphere and great vibe. all the employees were super nice. my daughter got a chicken gyro this was the main reason i gave a lower star on food. there was quite a bit of chicken that tasted dry and lots of hard pieces. it wasn’t bad but the chicken could have been better. I ordered the shawarma sandwich it was pretty good my main complaint is that I found a bone in my food. I understand bones in your food when you’re eating dead animals so I don’t knock them a whole lot, but it was decent size i’m just glad i didn’t swallow it. overall, their food wasn’t terrible. we will be back to try different things. I’d like to try their lamb and beef to see if it’s better than the chicken. after I try a few more things, I will come back and update my rating.
One thing that threw me off was the photos that are On Google showing it more like a buffet and that is not how it is actually set up so for a minute I actually thought I was in the wrong restaurant.“

“We love Garlic Crush!! The chicken kabobs are so tasty and tender, the lentil soup is top notch, and their hummus is the best! Mostly we order for takeout. (The restaurant interior is basic, but clean and comfortable for eating there.) The people who work there are super nice. Highly recommended.“

“Solid food all around. I’ve never been a lover or a hater of shawarma and gyro but it’s…enjoyable.
The humus is average plus. The bread, good. The fries, 3.5 star (so generously a 4 star). Service? Good. It’s exactly what I expected—4 star enjoyable. Price? It’s Seattle, nothing is ever inexpensive (gonna spend easily $20 a person).“
