I’ve dined here several times, both ordering takeout and enjoying their all-you-can-eat (AYCE) option. The AYCE menu is impressive, featuring lamb skewers, beef skewers, crispy pork, and brown sugar glutinous rice cakes. However, even the mildly spicy broth is quite hot. The quality of the skewers varies; sometimes they’re excellent, other times they’re unavailable or seem refried multi-times, or a bit raw. The condiment station’s ice jelly and mung bean soup are delightful. I plan to return in the future.

Food was good, nothing crazy - but the service was bad. They messed up our order and convinced us it was our fault. The prices are also insanely high, go to Canada and get the same food from same restaurant at 1/3 the price.

Visited here recently, and all the staff was friendly. Atmosphere is nice. The owner I think was exceptionally kind, and would overall return again.

Well if you want to experience the classic Chongqing mala hotpot then you must try Liuyishou hotpot!!

They used to be a bit pricy but after pandemic, they change their management style from single order to hybrid. It means you can either choose single orders or ALL YOU CAN EAT like a Happy Lamb nearby.

Prepare for napkins to wipe your tears and sweat I sweat 🥵 a lot even I chose mild spicy 🌶️ 🌶️ .

Overall, the single order meat’s quality It’s better than all you can eat. You only get 4 to 5 kind of meat to choose for all you can eat, but still it’s a good bargain. Plus Unlimited salad bar for cookies, fruit, appetizers, and a dessert!

I haven't been here for far too long, and I was surprised that they changed their business model. They are primarily all-you-can-eat now and you can order 5 types of meat from the server. You can also order fried pork, lamb/beef skewers, and glutinous rice cake with brown sugar for the regular option (you have to pick the premium AYCE if you want high-end meat like Australian/American wagyu or seafood like crab legs or oyster. It's about an extra $20 on top).

We picked the regular option and chose the spicy house special soup with the highest spicy level (3 pepper icons on the menu) and the signature pork tripe with black pepper and chicken soup base. The server was like "are you sure about that?" after I told him we want the super spicy option lol. He probably thought we are insane.. I never touched that side of the pot, but one of our friends was constantly sweating and they all said it was spicy.

There are 3 areas where you can get your food, the self-serve ingredients bar, the sauce bar, and the snacks bar. The snacks bar was hidden at the side, and the egg rolls that I got were cold. There are sesame balls, shrimp crackers (蝦片)and other stuff too. I like the self-serve area since you can get most of your ingredients on your own, including crown daisy, shrimp paste, mussels, squid, shrimps, bamboo shoots, seaweed knots, taro, potato, quail eggs, lotus roots, mushrooms, noodles, etc (around 35 options here).

Since we have no clue what meat was good, we ordered one of each for the 4 of us and those were the only meat we ordered, along with the skewers and the fried pork. We almost finished all the meat, but the friend with a big appetite was focusing on mussels instead.

The sauce bar is pretty standard, it has 3 side dishes/appetizers, 2 kinda of fruit (orange and cantaloupe when I was there), 2 kinda of dessert (mung bean soup and jelly/liangfen 涼粉). There also teach you how to make some sauces on the wall as well, with information on what sauce is good for spicy/non-spicy/all soup base. Thee sesame sauce for spicy soup was a life changer since the it helped coping with spiciness for my friends.

We dined for almost 2 hours and we were super full. I made a reservation the night before, and picked the last time slot available that's close to dinner time (5:15pm). We were late by 5 minutes, but they gave us a seat right away. The restaurant was about 20% full in the main dining area, and it was around 85% full when we left. There were also 3-4 groups waiting when we left around 7pm.

The price was a bit high for me, and I think it's slightly higher than happy lamb. I don't feel there is a significant difference between the quality of meat/food between the two places. However, I like the option of taking your own ingredients instead of waiting for them to bring it to you... It's more fun lol. My friends were constantly appreciating the food and how yummy it was, so it's worth it still. I read that the premium upgrade isn't worth it, but I can't comment on it without ordering it. However if you are a big mussels/shrimp person, the regular option is good enough without losing an extra $20 per person.

Broth at 1 star of spice level was extremely spicy, like FULL, FULL of swimming chilies. A ridiculous amount. Like a half a cup of chilies. I couldn’t eat the food. They took out half the broth and replaced it with plain broth and that didn’t fix it. Everything in the pot had pepper skins attached. Nobody came back to check on us. 5 hours later my stomach still hurts. Service slow and understaffed. They never asked if we needed anything else.
My friend had the mushroom broth and liked it. spicy too. The sauce bar was nice.

Housed in the old Noble Court, the inside of the restaurant is still nice. The staff is beyond helpful, nice and sincere. The food is comparable to any other AYCE Hot Pot restaurant. The one perk is that the sauce bar is included in the cost.

Food was great for the price but the portions weren’t the best. We decided to get the more expensive option that came with the seafood which I do not recommend because the crab was very small. My husband did not feel the best after we ate and he ended up getting food poisoning right after. We then ended up in the ER because of how sick he was. Servers weren’t as nice either- we weren’t greeted very nice either which we don’t have a care in but I know others do. The servers wouldn’t really come check on us until the end when they wanted to close and get us out.

Really disappointed to see how downhill this place has gone. We used to frequent it regularly, but they have recently pivoted to an All You Can Eat model. Even the base price for AYCE is quite high, and especially not worth it if you are vegetarian or have dietary restrictions. It feels like they shifted to this model as an excuse to cut costs on labor, since the restaurant was extremely understaffed, which resulted in terrible service. It often took multiple attempts to have someone answer our questions or refill our water and soup stock, and we were waiting for our check for about 30 minutes after their own self-proclaimed cutoff time of 2 hours per table.

The ingredient variety and quality has diminished significantly, especially for the potatoes and bamboo, and the beef meatballs tasted rancid. There weren't as many vegetable and mushroom options as before, and ingredients were sitting out in the buffet area for a significant time. The serving utensils were dirty and there wasnt enough for each ingredient, leading to the possibility for cross contamination. Considering there are so many new hotpot restaurants in the area, we won't be going back.

went here and thought that this place was really good but realized they are just like any other hotpot place. They ask u to do a review to get this type of juice which made me feel like i was sipping some holy wine from 1000 years ago and it made me lose my appetite. They also didn’t have strawberry ice cream which is why i go there for their desert.

Food was good but a bit pricey. Had the standard selection. The premium selection had better beef and included seafood. The service was ok. Not bad, but for the price of the food, I expected better service.
