Matcha was either lower grade or not executed very well.
The employees were dismissive from the moment we stepped in and seemed to barely make an effort to properly whisk the matcha prior to serving. They did ask awkwardly if I cared what kind of milk I’d like which should have been done when taking the order or made to standard if unspecified.
The end product was a chalky, clumpy yellow green matcha that could have been made at home using Costco matcha.
Experience could have been better if:
1 - employees taking order looked like they wanted to take the order 2 - if we set a standard milk choice and or ask for preference during order 3 - use a better quality matcha that doesn’t have a gritty mouthfeel 4 - use proper whisking technique or ditch the show and just blend it like Starbucks.

Placed an online order they said they “could not find” and then didn’t even ask what my order was. Just that they already refunded it. I asked for a matcha and it was the worse matcha it was so gritty. The worse customer service. It’s cute but your better off going to Nana’s Green Tea!

It’s a nice cute matcha place! I was impressed by how good their matcha was! The only reason it’s not 5 stars is that the staff weren’t that friendly. It’s not that they were rude, but they felt disconnected and didn't seem to care if we were in their store or not.
But other than that their matcha was really good

Worst service EVER at the Bellevue location!! When wife grabbed a hot drink from the counter, the lid wasn’t closed properly (hey crap happens)….but that’s not why the 1 star rating.
THE WORST PART was the staff said NOTHING and immediately began cleaning up the floor and counter — ZERO checking in with us (obviously zero sign of apologetic) whilst my wife rushed to the bathroom for clean.
Upon calling the manager over to discuss the matter, she didn’t handled it well either.
This shop needs training!!

So many different options if you are into matcha. They also have other drinks if you don’t like matcha. The lavender ube one I got was delicious. Just make sure you mix it well! Otherwise you will have just matcha leftover and it’s fairly bitter.

I love Matcha Magic! My favorite thing to order is a mint julep matcha with a shot of marshmallow syrup and a toasted marshmallow on top- SO delicious, you have to try it. The service is always excellent, the vibes in there are so happy and I love the little quote calendar. Also the avocado toasts are soooooo tasty that's a must try too.
Very yummy matcha and cool flavors to try. However it was very expensive, almost $10 yikes!

Didn't enjoy the matcha here, tasted like sencha got blended into powder... Edit: Just to provide more info after owners reply. The matcha I got had a pretty dominant earthy, musty, even slightly fishy taste, possibly overly oxidized(premade left too long) + very poor quality matcha/tea powder. I'm a big matcha fan but I couldn't even finish the drink I got here...
