Despite the name this huge place is a Cuban, not a French restaurant. It has been around for a long time and is very popular, serving 1600 - 1700 meals a day. Despite the crystal chandeliers and etched glass mirrors it's quite plain with bare plastic tables and paper placemats. I have to assume that the food is authentic, given the location where Spanish is much more common than English. I thought it was adequate and it certainly was plentiful. They also have an on-site bakery with great looking products. There is abundant parking and they sure need it.

Have ordered take-out and also dined in here. The food is fine but overpriced. Had the ultimate mixed grill both times, tried a couple of salads, and also had the clam chowder. Salads are fine as was the clam chowder. The mixed grill was decent as it came with shrimp, salmon, and crab cake, green beans, and mashed sweet potatoes. For take it it was fine as was my din-in experience. The setting is in the mall and it can be a little busy at times. Waiters were nice and pleasant, but somewhat overwhelmed when it got busy. If you order take out, order at the bar.

It's was decent. I had stuffed salmon that maybe needed a little more flavor. Overall, not a bad place at all.

Visited for happy hour and was super impressed. $1 oysters and shrimp the day I visited.

Visited this location with a party of 18. Because of our party size, we understood that it took a while to bring out the food. The food though, was bad. Not a single person said that they enjoyed their meal. I actually sent my dry and salty food back. This was not a McCormick & Schmick's standard experience. This location is nice and clean, but I would not suggest it.

No one acknowledged us for 15 minutes.... no one brought us bread and pretty much ignored us the whole time.... this is supposed to be a high end restaurant.... doesn't feel that way. Poor service They blamed their poor service on being "slammed" it wasn't slammed... it wasn't very busy at all.... if you can't handle this traffic at 6pm on a Saturday.... then you need new management I'm sitting here writing this review and it's been an hour and no food or anything yet

3.5 stars I came here during their happy hour (3-6pm daily). This is located inside Lincoln Square right across from The Container Store. For food I ordered the crispy baja fish tacos ($5.50) and the truffle fries ($3). I really liked the fish tacos! I thought the fish was nicely fried and the cilantro ranch sauce on top was really good. I thought the truffle fries were just okay as I didn't taste much truffle in it at all. For drinks I ordered the bulleit the old fashion way ($8) which was pretty good. They have a minimum drink purchase of $3.40 for their happy hour which you don't see often. They recently changed their happy hour menu and there's no more late night happy hour but they kept a lot of their items. Overall a lot of them are good deals and it's a decent happy hour.

We had a gift card to go here which made the prices much more reasonable and encouraged us to really splurge. Little did we know even the bread was so delicious it did its part in filling us up early. The sea bass in herb broth was incredible. The broth was so flavorful I wish I had a spoon to eat it all up. Parts of the fish were a bit dry, though when coupled with the broth it worked well. The steak and lobster tails option was also tasty, though again the lobster was a bit overdone. We topped it off with creme brulee which was by far the best part of the meal. What may have been a three and a half star experience was upped to four by the lovely and helpful waitstaff. Pro tip: the $18 cocktails are not worth the price.

Used to really like coming to happy hour here, but now they've cut back on the menu, service was incredibly slow like they didn't know what was on the menu or how to make drinks, and the restaurant was pretty empty. Past few times we've been here, no one ever comes to ask if you want to order anything else or if you need the check - have to keep going up to the bar to get anything. Sad to say it's gone downhill...

Excellent service, delicious food, great prices considering. Even better, this restaurant supports local and fresh farms and breweries. Everything from steak to lobster to fish to burgers to fettuccini. You can look up their full menu online and also make reservations online. Although it wasn't necessary for a party of 4. We will definitely come back!

I came during happy hour and it was a great experience! Happy hour seating is available in the patio areas both indoors and outdoors, and you can order a drink (alcoholic or not) to get happy hour menu prices. Food is delicious, I got a cheeseburger this time but in past times I've had their fish tacos as well as their coconut shrimp which is both good. I've come with family a couple times when I was a kid, and we've never had a bad experience here either.

We had two glasses of wine, two Caesar salads and one bread pudding and our bill was just under $60. Yikes!
