Monsoon Bellevue is a restaurant in Bellevue that provides a memorable dining experience focused on bold, vibrant flavors. While some guests have mentioned cleanliness issues, such as a faint moldy smell and a cockroach sighting, many have praised the food for its high quality and beautiful presentation. The restaurant offers a range of dishes, including the grilled pork belly, “Shaking Beef,” and wokked wheat noodles, along with highly recommended appetizers like crispy rolls and duck buns. Although the service is generally friendly and attentive, some customers noted a $20 per person booking fee that is charged and credited against the bill, along with a high corkage fee of $45. Additionally, guests mentioned challenges with splitting the bill. The atmosphere remains warm and inviting, and the bar enhances the enjoyable setting. Located in a lively area, parking can be difficult, but options like nearby garages or walking from the mall are available. Overall, Monsoon Bellevue is a good choice for those seeking flavorful food in a nice environment, but guests should be aware of some concerns regarding cleanliness and billing practices.
