Lunch at Mox Bellevue today—and what a surprise. I wasn’t there to game, just catching up with friends passing through. But the space? Total standout. Art Deco vibes, cozy booths, and a game store that feels more like a boutique hotel lounge. I had the Golden Curry & Tofu—Japanese-style curry over rice with potatoes, carrots, tofu, and pickled vegetables. Warm, flavorful, and exactly what I was in the mood for. My friends ordered the Sausage & Pepper Rotini and left just as happy. The only curveball? No mocktails listed on the menu. When I asked, our server looked a little unsure but offered to make a virgin Momotaro with ginger, peach, mint, lemon, and ginger beer. It was fantastic—definitely worth ordering again. Still, a mocktail section on the menu wouldn’t hurt. After lunch I wandered through the shop and ended up picking out a couple of games for our next game night. Couldn’t resist. All in all, a great lunch, great space, and a solid reminder to check out places that mix things up. Overall fun spot. So happy we found this place. Would happily return. Friendly staff, tasty food, stylish space.

Mox is a fantastic place for everyone! Whether you’re a hard core Magic, Pokémon, Warhammer, etc gamer or, a family wanting to play a board game while sipping Italian sodas, Mox has a place for everyone. Just today, they had tournaments in the back and in their cafe, my group was 3 dads playing a game together, across from us was a group of middle age deaf boardgamers, and, spread throughout were families with young and old kids. Mox really is one of those places where if you like to play games, you fit it!

The must-go for board game lovers. Carrick helped me out and provided really great recommendations! Will definitely visit again.

WORST PLACE EVER DO NOT GO.

We went in for the first time today. We bought a game and wanted to try out in the store. We grabbed a table and sat down. Shortly after, a bearded guy from the store came by and told us that one of our chairs is blocking the fire exit and asked us to either leave or stand. For context: the table and chairs were staged the way it is when we sat at the table and not is it even close the fire exit. I understand the compliance concerns but the fact this bearded store guy just rudely grabbed the chair so that he can give to another player is messed up.

Steer away from this lousy place and play games at somewhere else better!

Quite possibly the worst parking situation I've ever experienced. Makes me never want to go here. It's too bad because the food and games are actually good.

Awesome selection of games, models and toys. Great fun to borrow a game and play over a meal. Food options could be better.

Terrible with group events, with an equally terrible host (she seems to hate her job?). We've only been here for large-ish group events and it's always been a challenge to effectively have a large group here because they have weird rules around not standing near the bar or the tables. The food is also very mediocre. Nice games tho!

This place is awesome. I come here weekly. The staff is friendly, inviting, and always willing to help. The events are great as well. I particularly enjoy Boardgames with Raymond and the GM Workshops (If only they were not on the same day!).

Fantastic place to buy games, rent a game room, play Magic, or buy Magic singles.

The food is a bit overpriced, especially appetizers. The quality doesn't quite justify it, but it's okay.

The restaurant service is hit or miss. You either get attentive service or completely ignored. After being seated for 20+ mins without acknowledgement the last time I visited (during a not-so-busy time), I decided to finally post this.

Some of the staff, especially the hosts, can be standoffish. After a few awkward/blunt interactions in my last couple visits, I decided to post this on hopes that they improve. Today, I decided not to bother flagging someone down and moved on.

To be clear most of the staff is great, but I've experienced it enough to believe it's an issue that should be improved. I would certainly go more often if it did. As it stands now, I'll be avoiding the restaurant for the foreseeable future.

I have a friend that introduced me to this place since they’re a fan of the seattle location. recently I attended the Pokémon Day event by myself on a Thursday night (I really wanted those free promo cards ^^”). I was a bit nervous being there alone and almost left when I couldn't find parking. Thankfully, just as I was about to give up, a car pulled out, and I found a spot! really happy I ended up going because I met some really cool people. The drinks and food were pokemon themed which was so fun and delicious. honestly, it was amazing just being in a room filled with people who shared a similar excitement for pokémon. definitely recommend attending Mox’s events even if you’re going alone :)

Good selection of games. Magic the Gathering events are busy but well managed. Product prices can be a bit high.

I routinely order on their online Card Kingdom site for in store pickup. Overall good experience however there have been times where i received the email saying my order is ready and when i go to pick up they tell me to come back the next day.

I love it there! Great selection for all your gaming needs, and the restaurant and gaming spaces make for an awesome social environment. Plus, their discord server is a great place to connect with others and find people to play with!

While everything inside is very nice, there simply is not enough parking to meet the demand of their customer base.
