Best LGS in the area, in-house restaurant, large selection of board games and colletibles, had a great time playing MTG!

Great staff, solid food offerings (even for vegan/vegetarian), really fun ambiance, unbeatable game selection & try-before-you-buy setup. What more could you ask for? Our favorite quality is the emphasis on inclusive culture for everyone. Mox Boarding House is a regional institution.

The shop is always lively and you can always find someone to play MTG or even Warhammer with. As someone that plays both, they have a good selection of products at reasonable prices. Even if you aren't coming for a specific product, they have hundreds of board games and a staff that is knowledgeable of almost every board game they sell. The restaurant is always packed, especially during weekends. Expect to wait close to an hour unless you make reservations before hand as people like to play board games while they eat. They even have board games you can barrow and offer a discount if you decide to buy the game.

What a great hidden gem ? An underrated place with a huge collection of boardgames and lots of space to play with your friends/family. Just come in grab a game or two and go towards the back where there is a great hall with many tables you can occupy and start having fun. There is also a connected restaurant where you can eat while you play. If in the end you like to purchase the game, you get discounts too. Otherwise, just hand the game back at the counter and call it a day. No fees and 100% fun gauranteed. ?

Place where while having a snack, coffee, hot chocolate, various drinks, you can play board games! With your own games, those loaned to you or those you can buy on site. A lot of choices. The tables are large and allow you to play while drinking or eating. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Around midday there are fewer people than in the afternoon because it's a bit noisy when the games rooms are full.I especially recommend it for rainy days. This place is also made for coming and playing as a family with children. There are games for all ages.

We are visiting from out of town, and this was such a cool place to hang out! We loved the atmosphere, and the opportunity to hang out and play games. The Mexican fries were delicious, and we found some LOCAL craft beers we really enjoyed! So glad our daughter introduced us to this place! We'll be back when we come back into town.

Games and vibes were great. The food choices were good, but the quality was average. Ex. Mac and cheese was good quality cheese but wasn't spiced up with anything, which was disappointing for the price paid and the hype.

Ive been to Mox a few times, including their other location. The board game selection and shop is impressive and they have a wide variety of games. Their free play section is large and spacious and the beer is always tasty. My recent visit however had a staff member who was pretty rude to our group. It started when i went up and asked if they had a game in stock. The male employee in a rude tone said “no, they dont print that board game anymore”(incan gold). While i found this strange as a newer edition is printed and widely sold at other game stores ($30) and online, i said nothing and selected another game. There was no friendliness or customer service with the employee. The cards for the other game (Hanabi) were grimy and the instructions were torn. They were missing pieces and were using substitute tokens from another game. It was a bit gross to play with but they were functional and so our group was still happy. We were running out of time before closing and being very mindful of this. 4 minutes before closing the male employee comes into the room and says very fast “time to pack up the game.” Within another 15-20 seconds he comes back and very rudely retorts “pack up the game now! Theres 4 minutes!!!!”While we were very aware of the time, the game was a simple deck of cards which takes easily seconds to pack. Other members of our group (whos first time at Mox’s) found the comment really rude in the tone and approach, especially considering we were not late and there were other groups with much larger and intricate setups around us that were not being scolded. When we left everyone was very put off and it really killed the vibe we had.I understand wanting to go home soon and when your shift is over but you dont need to be rude. Just kindly ask people to be done before 10 or give a 5 minute warning so people can wrap up with enough time.I wont be suggesting Mox’s anymore to my friends after this.

Mox and its staff are an absolute treasure. Not only do they have a great selection of tabletop games to purchase, but they have a huge number of games available to borrow and play in the store and restaurant, letting you try a game before you buy it, or even just to enjoy with friends over a meal.Additionally, the staff are some of the friendliest folks around, and do a fantastic job of making suggestions if you’re not sure what to try or buy.

It was a busy, noisy Friday night. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was boisterous. I love this place. I've had birthdays in their rentable rooms. I will continue to play games and eat food here.

A wonderful and welcoming environment. They have great games to borrow and play in the cafe as well as a bunch of games, miniatures, cards, and paint to buy.

Took part in a 40K event here and had a lot of fun! Plenty of room for events as well as many other tables for those playing other games. Great selection of everything tabletop as well. Also got a burger there and it was pretty good, so all in all a place you should definitely give a chance!

The Bellevue location is super nice and spacious. They allow outside board games to be played without paying for anything. You can eat food and play games at the same time. They have wide selection of free board game demos. All staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They can give you detailed recommendations on tone, difficulty, number of players, etc. very clean and nice bathrooms. Good place to bring a date. Free parking outside.
