Honestly, dolar shop or haidilao is the superior hot pot. The environment here does not feel as luxurious, the quality of the meat cuts are much worse, and the all you can eat dessert bar is not as exciting. The benches are also narrow and uncomfortable!Wanted to try their dessert, but they didn’t make the one we wanted unfortunately, so will probably come here again to try that

I thought happy lamb was best hot pot place in eastside. We have a new winner. Great value and service. Cool atmosphere. Congratulation to our new champion of hotpot. Personally i think nan is better than haidilao or dolar shop.

At noon, I made plans with friends to try the Nan Hot Pot lunch special at Bellevue. We originally wanted to get the set menu, but it had ended. So, we decided to order à la carte, which still had around a 30% discount, perfect for our small appetites to pick our favorite dishes. We ordered a Nine-Grid Plate, beef omasum, braised tripe, and seaweed sprouts. It felt like all the braised dishes tasted better when cooked in the beef tallow pot, but individually, they lacked depth of flavor. Also, opting for the Yin Yang pot with pig stomach seemed like a great deal because it had a lot of pig stomach inside! Plus, we could take the leftovers home, and the soup was delicious, with just the right amount of pepper, slightly spicy but not throat-irritating (though too much might still cause a bit of irritation). The pork and fish in the Nine-Grid Plate were average, but everything else was good. If we could swap those with tripe and duck intestines, I wouldn't mind paying a bit more. We liked the bamboo shoots and shrimp balls; the shrimp balls seemed to have shrimp roe, giving them a crunchy texture . The beef omasum was also fragrant; we thought it might only be a few pieces for six or seven bucks, but when it arrived, there were more than we expected [laughing]. The fruits and snow fungus at the condiment station were also good, quite fresh. Although the wait for the food was a bit long, the service was excellent. The waitress was very patient.Parking: It's pretty easy to find parking during weekdays at noon, with plenty of spaces available.Average cost per person: $30-50 for weekday lunches.
