My favorites are any that involve their chocolate. They are worth my 20 mile drive…but they’d also be worth ordering to Antarctica. Regrettably, my experience with them was quite unsatisfactory. I contacted them regarding a cake, with over two weeks until the required date. Their customer service and communication skills were lacking. I was compelled to reach out again, only to be informed that they were unable to fulfill my order. If one wishes to experience disappointment and a waste of time, this might be the place to go. Furthermore, I sampled a cupcake, which unfortunately caused me stomach discomfort, leaving me feeling unwell. Perhaps it was a blessing in disguise.

This is my absolute favorite bakery in Bellevue! My daughter has had her birthday cakes done by New York Cupcakes before and they always turn out absolutely gorgeous and so delicious. Their cupcakes have the best frosting and they have such a great variety of flavors.
This store is so cute, a fun vibe and the staff are always welcoming and so friendly!

As a serious hobbyist baker myself I am very particular about cake but this is some of the best cake around. We went with a small cutting cake and 4 different mini cupcakes. The only thing I knew about the design I wanted was that it NOT be fondant. They worked with us to get to what we liked but then a couple of days before they called to confirm which shade of blue we wanted and came up with a brilliant idea of how to make it really pretty. We were wowed.
However, I should say, what really sets them apart is their frosting. Just the best frosting I have EVER had.

They were incredibly kind and friendly, and they helped me choose my cupcake flavors and decide how to decorate my birthday cake. I also ended up purchasing a few cupcakes, and they were absolutely delicious!

We got our wedding catering from this place, and no one could stop singing their praises! They were a hit!!! Cream cheese frosting is so delicate and isn't overwhelming, and their cake is so soft, fluffy, and a little bit gooey on the outside.
