“A girlfriend and I met for breakfast at a different port orchard location. Despite the sign on the door displaying their hours as being open, the lights were on, the place was empty, and the doors were still locked. We left and decided to take a chance going to the family pancake house just up the street. Though it seemed early to me on a Saturday morning (9:15 am) the place was buzzing, there were bright eyes, smiling faces, and tables filling with people of all ages from small children to seniors. There was no wait, as the seating is plenty. Our server was a familiar, friendly face and we felt welcome to be there. The menu had many delicious options and was accommodating to my dietary restrictions. Everything about this place made me love Port Orchard that much more. And instead of leaving a poor review for the other restaurant, I felt compelled to leave a raving one here instead!“

“Edit: taking down 1 star out of frustration with the take-out/Doordash option. The pick-up shelf is right by the front door, where orders are often mixed up, if not outright stolen. Please make pick-up more secure. It’s frustrating to have to wait 2x time for my order to be started over.

5*! My family loves the apple pancake, and I love the Dutch baby, especially with cinnamon sugar. These take extra time to make but worth the wait.“
