We always like their Peanut Mochi at Regent Cake & Bakery in Redmond. Now they opened one in Issaquah and their Issaquah location mochi doesn't have much peanut inside but it has a very thick of dough, very disappointed it! 😒 If it has the right portion of peanut vs. dough then it would be perfect. It has the right amount of sweetness and the texture is perfect; not too chewy and not too soft except they don't put a red mark on top of the mochi. Their prices are the expensive side too.

I bought the Napoleon cake as a special birthday cake for my husband. Don’t do it. It was nothing more than a dry flavorless cake. No one in my family liked it. Very disappointed Please don’t spend $60 on this cake

The workers are very friendly everytime i come in, desserts are always great too, fast efficient service, i recommended this place to all my friends and family we love it ill keep coming back here ! I came in the morning to pick up some bread and the worker in the front on 6/14 was super friendly and accommodating, keep up the great work hardworking fellow 👍👍

Their cake selection is truly outstanding, especially the Mango Mousse, which is one of my personal favorites. That said, other cakes like the Tiramisu, Taro Cake, and Black Forest aren’t far behind! I also tried their sponge cakes, which are soft, fluffy light, and perfectly sweet, making every bite an absolute pleasure.
Highly recommended! I love this place, and I am sure you will be glad you gave it a try too.

Hidden bag fee for sliced cakes. Just cannot believe they asked for 1 dollar extra bag fee for EACH additional sliced cake!! The sliced cake is just about 6-7 dollars. I purchased 5 slices, and they said if I want to put them separately I have to pay for extra 1 for EACH of the bag. Basically 4 more dollars, CRAZY. Hope owner can provide the explanation of this cost! What’s so special about this sliced cake paper bag??????

This was our first time going to this regions bakery and we ordered a mango mousse cake for my daughter's birthday. Noticed a moldy strawberry but we ate the cake anyway. Next morning she THREW UP the cake before school and continued to have diarrhea! Called and told them to keep their cakes fresh and CHECK to see if anything is bad so hopefully they will be more careful. DO NOT sell cakes unless you know for sure they are safe to eat is that not common sense?

Unfortunate that this location is now closed. I know that they have others, but I will forever miss their adjoining Chinese restaurant (that I feel like not enough people knew about post-covid). I grew up with this place and will miss it so much. I'll still get my birthday cake here every year, I'll just do it at the factoria location now!
