Good Russian deli with solid Staples and great homemade pelmeni and sour cream

Love this place! The food is amazing every time, it's homemade and you can tell by the quality that it was cooked with love. So much selection as well. My favourite is the bread. It's really hard to find that quality in some other Russian stores. Great location as well. The owner is always really pleasant and friendly. A very welcoming shop. I highly recommend it!

The home made sour cream and (Eastern-European style) cottage cheese are amazing, best you can get around here.

Love how legit this place is! Came here to order the Pelmini and Verinky (perogi)..unlike other fancy Russian places, this place doesn't come with broth. It is literally your pelmini and a dollop of sour cream. Though lacking in its presentation and a flavorful broth, I find these pelmini very flavorful! The most inside was very juicy and the flavor of the "broth" is within the pelmini! Absolutely delish! I mean I would've enjoyed a bit of pretentious chives, but for a deli, this place was great! The perogi we got was just plain potatoes...I would personally like to eat just the potatoes as a side..it was sooo smooth and so good that the dough around it was unnecessary. I am sure the meat perogi would've been better, but they ran out. The deli itself also serves sandwiches and other Russian delights. Unfortunately, you can't drink alcohol inside, but they do sell Russian import beers! All in all, pricing is average, service was good, good was great and authentic. Will come back to try the cabbage roll and sandwiches next time! OOoooO not to mention some frozen pelmini for the holidays!

Quaint little deli with very nice owner. Shelves of Eastern European/Russian condiments, crackers etc for sale. Also fresh sandwiches at a very reasonable price. Limited seating available.

Went to Romance Deli to buy meat and cherry dumplings.

Went to Romance Deli to buy meat and cherry dumplings. Oh... we better not. Meat dumplings has TOO much plain dough. Hard to notice meat behind all this dough. Cherry dumplings shouldn't be sold at all - safety reason. There is not only too much dough, but also there are A LOT of bones - go break your tooth! Almost every cherry dumpling has bones in the cherry. Such negligence is very unexpected. Nobody want to go to the dentist office and fix broken tooth, after they are eating cherry dumplings. This is very painful and expensive way to eat cherry dumplings. The store owner told us that she cooked those dumplings. And yes, like other people mentioned - price is very high. We don't recommend this store to friends and family members.

What a gem, found this right next to the Afghan place my sis and I ate it. The chicken salad is super tasty, the fresh rye bread is delicious too. The cabbage rolls have a nice zing to it. The eastside is very lucky to have a place like this.

They had a big selection, I went for a wedding shower gift but it seemed to cater more to toys and stuff im not personally into. Prices were comparable to other stores

Okay, But wouldn't revisit.

This is a Russian grocery store. The owner makes all of the salads by herself. She also sells homemade tvorog and sour cream.

Comparing to other Russian Deli stores in Seattle area, the choice is poor. But if you live nearby and don't want to drive too far, it may work...

Interesting things to buy, but crazy prices. Tea was good but after it’s expiration date.
