Very unsatisfactory, I paid $17.59 including a 2$ tip. Got a ham and cheese sandwich which came out broken as well , for the price they just microwaved a croissant, ham and cheese. No toasting or anything because their microwave is facing the entrance as I watched and waited 8-10 minutes. i am speaking out of disappointment after expecting just a good food to eat. The sandwich is broken greasy and soft cuz it's microwaved. Idk I should not have gone there based on their review. If store owner is reading so smth about ur food quality. I am too disappointed to even return it didn't want to make it hard for their servers.

We have been there 3 times (all at different times of the day). First off I want to say the cream cheese danish is superb (the best I’ve had anywhere) and it is consistently good every visit.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, my biggest issue is the availability of products. The first time we came in it was around noon and there was hardly anything left in the display case. They said you really have to get here early when they open. The second time we came at 10 am and it was the same. The third time we came around 7:15 am and the display case looked exactly the same (photo of the display case on our third visit right at opening included).
It is very frustrating and not very appealing to find that anytime of day it looks like they are sold out.
Parking: Parking garage next door and they validate for free parking.

Royal bakehouse is a nice coffee shop and bakery. They didn’t have nearly as many baked goods as I thought they would, but they looked great. The store is nice and clean, but I wouldn’t call it inviting or cozy as it’s more sterile. They do have tables to sit in to relax or do some work. The staff is very nice and friendly and they have a good selection of coffees. I ordered the breve latte, and it was good. I didn’t buy any pastries, although they looked delicious.

An asian cashier is clueless about taking orders for coffee—she dont know what is a grande size (gave me this look and she commented “oh I dont go to starbucks”). I noticed that her anxiety is through the roof. Otherwise, the pastries were great!

I typically love coming to this cafe every weekend. However, this weekend the new Asian barista’s judgement attitude made my experience unpleasant. After I ordered a regular latte, I was given a vanilla latte. I was not bothered, and politely informed her of my accurate order, as I do not like sugar and have never ordered vanilla. Immediately, she got very defensive and acted like I was in the wrong, claiming I misspoke and gave a judgmental look. While she did fix my drink, I noticed this behavior toward other customers as well, such as screaming the drink name with an irritated tone when customers do not immediately grab the drink from the bar. I have always had pleasant experiences with everyone else working here, and love the food.
