Very good pastry. Coffee above average. Atmosphere needs improvement---stark with no significant decorative features. Small space---not well-designed. Undesirable closing at 2:00 PM--much too early. Validated parking in nearby garage. Should offer smaller quantities of coffee.

We have been there 3 times (all at different times of the day). First off I want to say the cream cheese danish is superb (the best I’ve had anywhere) and it is consistently good every visit.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, my biggest issue is the availability of products. The first time we came in it was around noon and there was hardly anything left in the display case. They said you really have to get here early when they open. The second...

Royal bakehouse is a nice coffee shop and bakery. They didn’t have nearly as many baked goods as I thought they would, but they looked great. The store is nice and clean, but I wouldn’t call it inviting or cozy as it’s more sterile. They do have tables to sit in to relax or do some work. The staff is very nice and friendly and they have a good selection of coffees. I ordered the breve latte, and it was good. I didn’t buy any pastries, although they looked delicious.
