They over poured a big fella at the next table and he kept getting louder and louder. Then his kids joined in by running around while he ignored them while bragging about his boring life with a friend. Glad he staggered out midway through our meal.

Beautiful restaurant. Service was fantastic and the food was excellent. RD, our server was attentive and impeccable even though we had a large party. Everyone loved the food. Great experience.

we waited 40 minutes after our reservation time to be seated and then another 15 minutes wait for drinks and orders to be taken...ambience feels like a generic hotel dining room...food was excellent

Great Experience! The food was excellent. The Seastar Tower for appetizer is great. We tried the BEST Crab Bisque ever! Our server Barry was amazing and provided us great customer service. I highly recommend Seastar for a great dinner!

We were there in November of 2024 and meal was perfect. thisi time 6/13/25 we order king salmon with asparagus and mash potatoes and Cesar salad - salad was OK, asparagus was spongy, salty and oily, potatoes OK and salmon was nice. Other plate was planked king salmon broccoli was over cooked, burnt, and had an acidity flavor that was unpleasant, rice OK nothing special and fish was fine. Service was very good. Overall not. The experience we expected for the price. a disappointment.

It’s a nice and upscale restaurant with friendly staff and service. We stopped there for dinner after our bubble planet experience. Food was delicious and decent amount. I only give 4 ⭐️because my son and his dad both said their stomach was a little unsettled after the raw oyster 🦪, but I was fine with everything. Definitely will go back for special occasions as the food is not cheap.

A beautiful restaurant and, in my opinion, the best place for oysters in Seattle Area. It stands out for its elegance, combining fine dining with a stylish interior and a refined atmosphere🤍

Oysters are a staple in my life, and this is my go-to spot to enjoy them — perfectly paired with a glass of red or white wine. Our server was exceptionally kind, walked us through the wine list, and highlighted the fresh oyster selections available that day.

Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. A true 10/10 experience🏆

The halibut looked good but lacked flavor- completely bland. The black cod- also super bland. We got the escargot appetizer and they could have taken the time to toast and add butter to the bread. Maybe it was an off night?

Excellent food, excellent service.
Rafael took excellent care of us and was one of the most professional people I have ever met.

Stephanie

Our server acted as if she had no interest in serving us. She was hardly anywhere to be found, and definitely didn't deserve the automatic 20% gratuity added. An overall disappointing experience bc of the lackluster service. Seastar can do better than that!

Fantastic John Howie restaurant in the heart of Bellevue. Incredible seafood for a business or romantic dinner. Lots of easy parking underneath the restaurant. Bring your ticket as they will validate it.

My only complaint is that I made a reservation for a Monday, my wife's birthday. Upon arrival, we were seated at a table near the entrance to the main dining room, next to a family with two small children. I toured the restaurant and noticed several much nicer tables further into the dining room. I asked to be moved and was. After this, the service and food were outstanding.
