The atmosphere is perfect for any occasion. Torched Salmon Belly, Crispy Sushi Bites, Ahi Poke, and Miso Glazed Sablefish is our favorite. French fries came with big portion, crisp and juicy.
Excellent menu; something to satisfy everyone. A classy place with pro servers and front desk staff. High quality food, beverages, and preparation. I would only add table linen to help reduce noise. That said, it wasn't too loud, and the background music was quiet and pleasant. We are always hunting for restaurants quiet enough for conversation, and without bang-bang music. Well done, Seastar!
I'm a regular at Seastar and usually dine both at the bar and dinning area. This time around the dining area lacked the vibe. Not sure if it was due to the new servers but it felt like a transactional dining experience. What happen to the old crew ?Friday they need the OG bartender Greg working! Cocktails were not the same without him. Female manager walked around like she was having a really bad day, no smile, sommelier helping with wine was ok not much of a cheery personality...
