Something’s not right here anymore. This place used to be great. I recently went to a tasting on a 90-degree day and the AC was out. No fans, nothing to protect the wine. Very odd. Add in empty shelves and a website that still redirects to Crunchyfruit months after the split, and things just feel… off. I’m really hoping it turns around, but I’m starting to lose hope.
I've been to just about every independent wine shop in seattle, and this is by far the best, with some strong contenders for second place. Pricing, selection, and service are off the charts, with extremely passionate people, absolutely stellar bottles from around the world, and everything ranging between "a steal" and "perfectly fair" with pricing. Really encouraged by my first visit to have a source of natural wine on the east side; feels like a traditional wine shop which i get is a holdover from the previous regime and I hope for more modern look and selection to continue to grow over time
