The braised pork chops and fried pork chops were very delicious. A must try at this spot. Can't go wrong with the combo meals

Taste is great. Side dishes are cold. A bit pricey. Recommend crispy pork chop.

I’ve been to this restaurant twice.
Unfortunately, both times I had food safety issues: the first time, I found a small piece of wire in the meat filling; the second time, it was a piece of eggshell.
While the staff was polite and addressed the issues promptly, good service cannot replace basic food quality and safety.
I hope the restaurant takes this seriously and improves its quality control.

We tried three signature dishes. The fried pork chop was well-done, with the juicy and scripy texture. Best enjoyed with a dip of soy source. The panfried dumplings have a thick skin and a filling with overpowering ginger flavor… The wontons are large and filled to the brim, but skin is also slightly thick. Perhaps that’s the Shanghai style, but if you prefer dumplings with thin skin, this is not the right place for you.
really authentic Shanghainese food (breakfast). I’ve been in most US big cities and have tried lots of Shanghainese food in past 12 years, but this place’s pot sticker I would say is 90% similar to what I’ve eaten in Shanghai. Other dishes are also served really well: for instance Shanghai cold noodles are served with peanut sauce which is exactly what my grandparents gave me 20 years ago when I was a child in Shanghai.
For those who don’t like the flavor the store: it’s not your fault or this place’s fault. That’s just how Shanghainese childhood food taste like. Highly recommend to those who born in Shanghai before 2010 and liked Shanghai breakfast style ( the reason I said 2010 is because past 2010 Shanghai breakfast, for example curry beef noodle that served in this stored, had changed a lot back in Shanghai).
