Vibe: check; food: yummy, good portion; service: good. The place has a variety of options to select from with available customizations in terms of spice levels and ingredients. Slightly on the expensive end, good portion size served.
The only complaint: their dry pot menu misses 2 vital non-veg proteins: chicken and fish fillet.
Loved their veg noodles: we wanted it non-spicy yet there was no compromise in their flavor.
The dry pot tasted super, well done with the spices and cooked to perfection
Despite being a fish 1speciality place, they have abundant of veg toppings to choose from.
They also serve freshly squeezed watermelon juice!
Will definitely visit this place again to try their other delicacies, specifically their fish in chilli oil.
Great food! The flavor is very authentic. We love the spicy fish and come back for that every time. The kids love the shrimp fried rice and marinated egg. The staff is also great and are always sweet to my kids.
It's on a lot of lists for best Chinese restaurants. Even from those who hate the east side. Well deserved as the broth is rich in flavorful oils, with perfectly cooked fish. Recommend bringing at least 3-4 people. The pork intestines are not my preference being coated in a sweet and sour sauce but makes it more approachable.
I recommend level 1/1 for spicy and numbing for first time here.
We also come here for the delicious Sichuan fish soup, they also have the best stir fry dishes that always meet our expectations.
Great flavors and generous portion sizes! Most dishes on the menu are spicy, but spice level can be customized.
Very authentic Chinese food. Clean and tasty!
Great taste!
They sell coupons on other third party platforms, but when you bring the coupon, they tell you they don’t accept coupon any more. And there isn’t even any notice at all.

Tastes good, reasonably priced, highly recommended
The food was really good, especially their signature fish dish, they don’t skimp out on the fish. The service and servers are always really kind.
But the only problem, which is pretty serious, is that it seems like the owner/chefs doesn’t care much about food cleanliness. It seems like they never wash their vegetables, especially the leafy green veggies. We ordered a sautéed leafy green vegetable dish, and it was a mouthful of sand. We asked the server to return it to the kitchen and to take it off our bill which they kindly did. But it seems like this is just a repetition, we let them know many times before but they still don’t wash their produce.

My first review at Google Maps. The spicy dry pot is sooooooo delicious. Have to write something for it. All the ingredients are fresh and well cooked in perfect condition. Tripes are MVP. Spices are so good and I won’t feel very thirsty after the meal.
Parking: Parking will be a little challenging if you arrive at busy hours like 12pm on Saturday.

- Tough cumin lamb chop is a nono! -
We have visited here in the past, but I wasn't motivated to write about it as it's a pretty standard Chinese restaurant imo. We visited last Thursday and they sat us next to the entrance. They explained that there is a smaller table at the inner corner of the restaurant, but this table is larger. I regret not taking the small table later as a lot of people came for takeout orders or wait for a table, so it wasn't the best to sit near the entrance.
Our first dish came 20 minutes after we placed the order. The Dry Sauteed Green Bean 干煸四季豆 had a hint of numb spicy.. it's slightly overcooked for my liking and not super crunchy. It's also a bit salty for me but still acceptable for someone who prefers little or no seasoning for most dishes.
The cumin lamb chop 孜然羊排 came after another 15 minutes of wait.. It was spicy and full of cilantro, green onion, and onion. There were 9 pieces of lamb chops

Ordered online, through deliveroo rather than their main site as the same meal was over £2 more expensive ordering direct, even taking Into account deliveroos delivery and service charge! Their own website is seriously over priced e.g. pilau rice being £4.10 compared to deliveroos being way over £1 cheaper. The food itself was poor, chicken madras had a very watery "sauce" and just tasted like curry powder. The lamb tikka vindaloo was poor too overly hot for a vindaloo, except even Less meat and two very large potatoes! Takeaway should be a treat this was overpriced and poor quality. Would not buy from here again.

Worse food I've eaten in my life. Ordered fried chicken and there were over 100 bones. They obviously just smash it with a knife and bone fragments cut my mouth. No discount provided and a rude indifferent attitude.
