Hidden Gem! The Eastside has plenty of options for sushi, but none quite like Sushi In Joy. To start with, the ambiance is very Japanese, with traditional small booths (Koshitsu) for privacy. The menu is extensive, with many dishes and rolls unique to this place. Then there’s the food. We were a party of four, and everything we ordered (several rolls, sushi and sashimi ) was truly outstanding, really the best I’ve had in the Seattle area. All ingredients were super fresh, with generous portions and tip top quality. This is a family owned place with a passion for quality, and you have to give it a try.
PS, the Jegroni will knock your socks off

Our graduation celebration was a huge success. Our party of 10, 4 starving teens, 6 hungry adults had plenty of fresh, beautifully prepared and served sashimi and Nigiri. We were a boisterous crowd and pleased to have the private dining room. The service was prompt, and the food just kept coming. It was delightful and everyone enjoyed the fabulous fish. Thank you to Joe, Moon and the sushi chef who made us very happy.
I'm not a sushi connoisseur, so take this as it is: sushi was very good, bento box was good, and service was great. We had the Bellevue Way roll and spicy tuna roll; the Spicy Pork Bulgogi and Saba Shioyaki bento box. Appetizers were fried gyoza and yellow fin collar. Service was very nice; friendly and attentive without being over bearing. Highly recommend this restaurant for your sushi needs between Bellevue and Kirkland

We’ve been here many times and the food/service is always great. This is our favorite spot to get sushi in Bellevue. The staff is always so kind and the food is always great. Our favorites are the super dragon roll, unagi maguro and the sunny roll with crispy flakes
