This place has some decent reviews so I'm not sure what is going on but my experience was vastly different. I ordered the chicken terriyaki and 90% of the dish was sprouts and veggies sprinkled with a little chicken. Gryoza was decent. Very expensive. Most surprising was the overcooked steamed rice. My goodness..... I'm a 50-year old amerasian with lots of experience with this type of food and I was very disappointed. Perhaps I came on an off-day.

I've been getting Tanpopo since the early 90s. Best place ever!

been coming here sense I was a child. It's a great yakisoba I can't find anywhere else.

Best soba I've ever had: savory instead of teriyaki-sweet, big portions, reheats well. Owners are sweethearts. I've moved away, but go out of my way whenever I'm in the area to get some Tanpopo soba.

I really like this place. I've been coming here for like 35 years.. same owners.. although I've only had 3 dishes.. chicken teriyaki, chicken yakisoba and tofu teriyaki.. the dishes come on a bed of sprouts and the portions are large. It's the one place that sends me to the crossroads area.. super cheap, super fast. It's not teriyaki in the sense of your local teriyaki shop so I'd recommend formulating your own opinion

Amazing food, people here in the reviews don't understand the little burnt taste they're getting is part of the amazing flavor. If you want more meat double it up! I grew up in Bellevue and always came here as a kid, amazing food then and now!

Zero stars. Tried to get a quick lunch here with my daughter. The food was inedible, tasted like the grill, gyoza way over cooked and burned on one side and the rice was obviously old and hard. Truly disgusting. The only person working there refused to give me my $21 back. She offered to clean up and remake but I didn't have time to wait (took 20 min to get the first piles of garbage) nor was I was interested in a cleaner version of her tasteless yakisoba or another serving of yesterday's rice. What a mistake. Don't make the same one by eating here.

Ordered chicken teriyaki. I should have ordered veggie instead because there was very less chicken. Also Got Burned chicken and veggies. Waste of my $10.99... pls don't go here .. sorry

Best yakisoba in the city by far, and family-owned & operated. It's been one of the most consistently delicious stops whenever I'm in Crossroads. Nothing hits the spot better than pork yakisoba (drool emoji)!
Yum in my god damn tum. Big helpings and much better than the franchise Teriyaki you'll find on every corner.

Lady super duper nice. Answered all of my questions and made a custom order for me... That's where it ends though. It's a dry salty teriyaki. I'm more of a sweet thick sauce teriyaki person.

Been going here for over 10+ years. The food is always consistent and taste brings back nostalgic memories. one of the best chicken teriyaki places in the city. It's family owned and operated.

This place is amazing. Best teriyaki I've ever had. Beef teriyaki and all teriyaki different than you've ever had. Gyoza is amazing and it's always consistent. Always the same. For the last 25 years

"TAN-POE-POE hahaha what a silly name!" I scoffed as I gazed up at the neon pastel purple neon sign, clutching my bags from LaMont's and Blockbuster Music.
