I had passed by many times and it always seemed expensive, which it really wasn’t.. especially during happy hour. Had half dozen oysters, geoduck and a popoy. Everything was good, but the freshness of the seafood is exceptional. I highly recommended this place.

First, I'd like to set the scene: us (4 people) and only us were in the restaurant, not a single other table was filled. With that in mind, it was mind-boggling how horrible the service was. Our waitress was extremely rude the entire time we were there, didn't offer us any water and once we asked for it she took almost 15 minutes bringing it over and didn't refill our glasses once. She didn't write down any of our orders so of course she messed up two orders and forgot one....out of four orders.... On top of that, she didn't bring us the correct drinks we asked for and didn't say anything when dropping anything off at our table. Just left it and walked away, never asked if we needed anything or really do any of her job as a waitress. Then they charge you at least 20% in a required tip....you have no choice but to pay it because they force this on you and of course they do this because otherwise no one would be tipping the atrocious service they provide there. We went before the pandemic started so I can't speak to how they've been running since March. STAY CLEAR IF YOU WANT ANY KIND OF A DECENT OR ENJOYABLE DINING EXPERIENCE.

Not sure what I was expecting walking into Taylor's, but after ordering a dozen oysters, a hh lobster roll, and a caesar salad I walked out feeling hungry but stuck with a bill of $100.00. To be fair, the food was delicious, just overpriced imo. The staff was also very helpful and attentive!

Came to Bellevue just to stroll the mall and came to find out that Taylor Shellfish has open another restaurant in the area. We had visited one of their location in Pioneer Sq hence this location has diff ambience, so thought to try since we've been craving some oysters. Great location near hotels and shops. The place has a 2nd floor for overflow or possibly special group private dining. Got seated right away however waited 10mins for our server to greet us with a menu. Server took our orders and of course we had to get the shuckers dozen, shrimp po'boy and salmon dip. The GM also came to say hi. Only missing star issue was the wait it took a long time to be greeted, a simple acknowledgement from anyone would have ease us a little. Keep in mind the 18.9% auto grat is included to every bill. Overall food was superb.

The staff is very knowledgeable about the food and drinks they serve. When you dont know what you want they make excellent recommendations. I have never been disappointed by the service or food.

Reasonable prices for small plates foods like the fried shrimp and fried oysters. The geoduck chowder was on the saltier side, and not as creamy but still good enough to finish for eating half of a bowl. Mixed pickled veggies were a nice vinegary treat!

I can't say no to oysters! And why should I? Especially at a place like Taylor shellfish. My favorite is to have french fries, champagne and oysters. Just feels like a special treat. Recently I had one of their cocktails and it was fantastic. It's nice to have one in Bellevue. My goal this summer is to head up to the one in Bellingham. It sounds great to sit on the waters edge and eat fresh oysters. I also tried the shrimp Poboy Recently with fries and it was quite tasty. Curious about some of the other things they offer. I'll be back!

I love the whole crab! It is so amazing, the taste is unmatched when it comes to crab! Both the Pioneer Square and Bellevue location are my favorites. My husband and I are ashamed to say we have been frequenting this place the last three weeks. The bill is never under $180 but the food is really good and it's easy to get carried away. I love the sparkling rose and crab together. Yummy! Special thanks to some awesome hosts and servers who waited on us at the Bellevue location: Courtney, Christian, Clayton and Katrina. They were very kind to us and made sure our visit was satisfying. The oysters are always fresh and well decorated with mignonette, lemon, salt and pepper. Can't wait to go back! A Seattle staple for sure

Come here for happy hour!! It's 3-6pm and you get $2 oysters. They also have other drinks and small plates to choose from but the oysters are the best deal. Everything is very fresh and tasty! We got the fried oysters and fried shrimp po'boy. Fries were amazing and the sandwich was good. A decent amount of filling and not too much bread. I would definitely come back for happy hour!

Had a great meal here today. I feel like it's underrated because of the gratuity being included automatically. Yes, they add gratuity. It's Bellevue, get over it! Oysters = perfect Dungeness Crab = fantastic Steamers = excellent Old fashioned = on point

We took my parents here for a thank you dinner. There were six in our party. Food: 5 Stars Service: 5 Stars Atmosphere: 5 Stars My father's favorite food is fried oysters. He ordered the scallops as a main course and the oysters as an appetizer. We actually ordered an extra oyster as my father was very pleased with them. It was a good thing we did, because while the scallops are very good it is a bit of a light meal. My mother had the duck and again was very happy with her choice. My one issue is they were out of the black cod which both my husband and I were looking forward to. I had the shrimp po' boy. It was good, but with all of the other things on the menu I would not get it again. They do have happy hour. It has a good selection of small bites. My daughter ordered the fried chicken off of the children's menu and while it didn't look like Chick-fil-A, once she started eating it she finished the whole order. If you like shellfish you can find something you will enjoy on this menu.

It was pretty good. The smoked oyster dip was a bit salty paired with the kettle chips. (which were delicious). Over all great atmosphere, I'll be back again. The menu is exciting and i can't wait to try more things.

We came in the evening on 1/6/2020. Down to 2 stars because of the quality of the front of house service. The quality of the food and atmosphere were great.

Taylor Shellfish Oyster Bar is probably one of the most kid friendly restaurant I have been in. For that reason and more, we love coming here. All the servers never makes you the "oh the baby is coming in" look and instead, they kindly offers baby seats and big smiles. All the staffs are always attentive and clears out your table at a good timely manner too. We ordered the fried shrimp, oysters of course, pickled veggies, ahi tuna, and lastly the mussel soup. Everything came out super fast and it was all delicious and fresh. Prices are reasonable and I have no complaints! We will definitely be back for more!

This place is delicious. Got the Caesar salad and they made it correctly with anchovies. The Oyster Po Boy was awesomely breaded on a brioche bun and the fries were done very well. Wish I could dine here fortnightly!
